If you love design you will love our attention to detail and modern County vibe. LOCAL AREA Wellington is the centre of Prince Edward County an emergening and happening wine country. Close to Sandbanks Provincial Park. Very close walking to local beach & lakefront. Local winneries: walking distance, biking and driving. Local chef renowned resturants, farmers markets, family and group activities. Yet still located on a quiet and peaceful street. DESIGN Maple St's re-design was inspired by it’s original 70’s character but reinvented in a totally new and modern way. We took a very outdated 70’s bungalow, stripped it back and meticulously redesigned every detail. Keeping in mind all the practicalities of family and beach living. Comfort is key! BEACH INSPIRATION. The interior references 70’s design esthetic but in a very serene and fun way, with painstaking attention to detail and a modern interpretation of materials such as plywood and melamine set against white oak finishes. The result is a bright and contemporary beach inspired space which unites the functionality of modern condo design with the benefits of a house & garden. WALK TO BEACH Wellington beach is Only 2 blocks/5 mins walk from the property! So no parking hassles/fees! Take your coffee and enjoy summer mornings on the beach or bring your dinner and enjoy amazing evening sunsets. Perfect for families, sunbathers and water sports fans. OUTDOOR LOUNGE AREA. To the rear of the house enjoy the massive 650 sq ft sun drenched - walk out deck, outdoor lounge seating, dinning, bbq area. There are lovely herb filled kitchen garden boxes and a large grass area for children to enjoy just beyond the deck. There is a school playground park immedietely behind the garden for children to enjoy. CEDAR FRONT PATIO. Perfect walk out patio area from the living roomndesigned with with a cedar privacy wall. Sit in your p.j's and enjoy your morning coffee under the shade of the maple tree. INTERIOR SPACE. The space has been designed with simplicity, functionality and comfort in mind. MAIN LIVING SPACE. The open plan lounge space opens to the gorgeous blush pink, communal kitchen, perfect for hanging out together. The kitchen has been designed to visually flow and transition into the the lounge area, where you can enjoy a fireplace and TV with access to apps for netfix etc SECOND LIVING SPACE. Newly renovated basement living space, with full bathroom adjacent. Designed for chill time, play and spa like bathroom ..zen spot. KITCHEN. The focal point of the space without a doubt is the pale ‘Millennial Pink’ kitchen, designed by the owners and hand made by a local County cabinet maker. Floor to ceiling cabinetry with lots of open space and storage, all centred around a beautiful hand made white oak island and white marble top. Enjoy meals in the glass filled dining room, directly off the kitchen with access to the walk out deck. FIREPLACE. The lounge features a lovely gas fire...perfect for coller evenings. The same white oak used in the kitchen cabinetry, drinks cabinet and seating area flows into the lounge.. All the textiles used are sourced in the UK bringing a level of casual sophistication to the space. Plenty on trend magazines, books and blankets ...everything you need for a cozy night in. BEDROOMS. There are three nicely sized bedrooms and two full bathrooms. All completely renovated to reflect the visual modernity of the space. The bedrooms are zen peaceful areas with crisp white sheets and beautiful bedding, all reflecting a laid back beach house vibe. EXTRA SPACE. In the main living room we have a lovely convertable day bed which is excellent (and comfortable) for one person ...it's not a bed true, but it is perfectly comfortable for an 1 adult or child. In the second living space we also have a double sized pull out couch. BATHROOMS. 2 newly renovated full bathrooms. Relax and enjoy the soaker tub and the zen like designed space in larger of the two bathrooms. Fully fitted out with Spa quality amenities and fluffy towels. All the fittings and features of Maple Street have been thoughtfully selected with quality and comfortable in mind. The bungalow is perfect for couples, families or small groups. NOTE: 1. Airbnb counts the infant cot as one bed. Please read the detailed room description for clarity. 2. Total Guest number: Airbnb does not count or limit the number of infants in any booking, however Prince Edward County license restrictions do. Our first legality is to local restrictions. Total head count must not exceed the total guests shown in the listing. This is due to new requirements for daily reservations - even with a seasonal pass. It is too complicated for us to manage guest daily beach reservations. Daily Vehical Fees: 12.25 * Reservations are accepted up to five months in advance of your arrival date. For example, you can book January 15 for an arrival date of June 15. * Advance daily vehicle permits can be purchased up to 5 days before your visit starting at 7:00am ET. * You should be driving the vehicle registered on the pass. * Please visit Ontarios Provincial Parks website for complete information. Guest access Guests have run of the whole house and outdoor spaces. Other things to note A 4% Municapal Occupation Tax is being applied to all reservations of short term accommodations by Prince Edward County. This cost will automatically be reflected in your nightly rate. To try and offset this for our guests we have removed our usual Management Company Administration fee. Care of Maple Street. Because we have put a lot of thought into our home and invested in quality design and materials we ask that our guests appreciate this effort and treat our home with respect and care. Cleaning upon request. Pets upon written request/approval only. All pets must be approved prior to reservation. Issues or problems. Any issues or problems must be reported as soon as you notice them (not upon or after check up). Reporting any issue allows us to both service you and fix any issue in the moment, and it helps us be prepared for our next guests. Telling us issues after the fact allows us no opportunity to respond and / or fix any issues before the next guest checks in, often that same day. Thank you for your understanding.
