An environmentally friendly detached cosy two bedroom holiday cottage located in a tranquil setting on the outskirts of Snowdonia. Just a short drive from the coast and is ideal for walking, cycling, surfing, sightseeing and much more. Now featuring an outdoor Infrared Sauna and cold shower. Within walking distance are some great pubs / restaurants, a waterfall called the Fairy Falls and a Woollen Mill. There is also a large number of established walking routes in the surrounding area. The space There are gardens surrounding the property with various seating areas overlooking the beautiful valley and Gwydyr Forest. We have just investing in an outdoor infrared and red light therapy sauna and cold shower to help relax after a long day walking or if you just want to feel the health benefits. We will be at the end of the telephone / email message if you need us. Entry to the cottage is via a key lockbox, the code is automatically sent to you on the day by Airbnb (The key code will be within the itinerary). If for some reason you do not receive the code please contact us directly. Other things to note If you are travelling by car and using a sat-nav ensure it is taking you to the location on the map along the B5106 and not to woods behind the property or in a field. "Ysgubor Gerrig" works best on navigation at the moment as the postcode covers a large area. Diddosfa, B5106, Ysgubor Gerrig, Trefriw, Conwy, LL27 0HZ. Diddosfa now has its own driveway for a small to medium size car and relies on roadside parking for additional cars. We are located just past a bend on a main road so we recommend working with someone on the roadside with clear visibility to exit the parking space safely. We find that the best additional place to park is under the tree which is just past the property. More details can be found in our welcome pack which can be emailed upon request. To walk into the village you will have to walk on the roadside or go via the forest track, there is no roadside path and the road can be busy sometimes. Preparing for your trip Items you will need to take: * Food and drink essentials - we do not have the facility to provide bread, milk, butter and guarantee tea/coffee. * Toiletries – Toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, additional toilet roll etc * A Dryrobe and flip flops are ideal for the outdoor Sauna * Wood and coal if you plan to use the open fire or woodburner but NEVER leave them unattended when hot, especially on check-out. (any of Diddosfas logs / coal used must be replaced to ensure there is some for other guests)
