Large tropical garden with beautiful views of rice fields and palms, at the back of the property, plus two double garages. The entire villa is yours for the duration of your stay. The space Rice Palm Villa is set amongst the rice fields of Ubud and has a 1000sq metres set in a tropical paradise not far from the centre of the palace in central Ubud. the villa is ideal for couples or two couples who want a quite relaxing villa away from the maddening crowd, but not to far away from entertainment and restaurants. Guest access Lovely walks at the village and the rice fiends with near by restaurants and temples. Other things to note Unfortunately we do not serve breakfast but we do have a fully equipped kitchen, if you would like to cook, there is local restaurants near by. Warung Vinaka and Kolaka is the closes one walking distance, they do breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drinking water are provided during your stay. If I am not around, MADE - our house keeper will be there when you arrive to welcome you and show you around also give you the keys to use during your stay. Made comes in at 8 am, he tidy's the villa and makes the beds and washes up, leaves at 4 pm, has Sunday off. He does stay near by, will help you in any way he can, and can take any laundry in for you. He looks after the garden most of the time, and is not in your way at all. Gecko and Mosquito In any part of Bali expect to meet tropical animals like gecko and mosquito. In our villa, we have at least one gecko that claim the house are theirs. You can hear them greet you at night, although they look fierce but they are harmless. They have originally resided in the area far before we built our villa. We are basically all guests in their homes, they are naturally shy and fear us more than the opposite. Balinese have been living peacefully by sharing the space with geckos at home. Please note as well that our bed in the mezzanine floor only with fan, no aircon. As for mosquitos and other insects, you can apply repellent. And we have a mosquito net to protect your peaceful sleep. Ant, rat, and fly We have a half open kitchenette that can invite ants and other animals to visit the kitchenette if they smell foods. Make sure you don’t leave any foods outside the fridge or cabinet during the day or at night to keep them away. We do check regularly our villa with pest controller and also we do install 2 rodents control machine in the villa, so far we do not have any problem with it. Bali Calendar: Saturday the 29th of March 2025 - Nyepi/Silent Day. On Nyepi Day, we will not be able to accept any check-in or check-out throughout the day. If you’re staying with us during Nyepi Day, kindly be informed of the below situations during Nyepi Day: The silence begins sunrise around 6:00 am of Saturday the 29th March 2025 and will go on until the next 24 hours. All shops are closed on Nyepi Day. Guests has to stay inside the property area. When listening to the music or watching TV in the villa, keep the sound at minimum level. There will be no traffic on that day in the whole Bali island. Ngurah Rai airport will be totally closed on Saturday the 29th March 2025, so there will be neither arrival nor departure in the airport on that day. All connecting airports around the globe have been informed in advance about this. Across Bali, the activities are allowed only in emergency rooms and maternity section of hospitals and the arrival section of airport. Any emergencies are taken into consideration and tolerated. The whole island is in silence. Galungan Day 19th of November 2025. Made-our housekeeper will have 3 days off work due to the ceremony, starting 19th-20th. Kuningan Day 29th of November 2025. Made our house keeper wont be able to work on those days.
