The space Our 75 Acre Slice of Heaven: Situated on the coveted White Mountain National Forest, this property includes a myriad of hiking and walking trails that you can embark upon from the backyard. One of our favorite trails takes you directly to a private, gorgeous waterfall and swimming hole. Another highlight? You can walk directly to the famous Ferncroft from the property. Trust us - you won't want to miss the opportunity to stay in this location, a hamlet of North Sandwich known for its breathtaking open fields and hiking trails leading to Flat Mountain and the Sandwich Range Wilderness (almost 11,000 acres). Lace up your shoes and explore the woods around! If you are not up for walking, you can simply enjoy the beauty of the backyard. We take great pride in our meticulously kept gardens and wonderful outdoor entertaining space. Between the furnished patio, pool, outdoor shower, full outdoor kitchen / grilling space, fire pit, and stunning views - you won't want to leave! Our Historic Farmhouse: The house itself is a beautifully renovated historic farmhouse. Built for entertaining and creating special moments with your family or friends, the house is appointed with every amenity. Our rec room features a pool table. Our gourmet kitchen is massive and well stocked - so you can cook, serve, and eat with company. Also on the first floor includes a full bath, dining room with fireplace, large living room, and 2 wood stoves. Every room is bright, generous, and comfortable. We also have a breezy three-season porch for enjoying. The second floor has three bedrooms and a rain shower with a huge soaking jacuzzi tub. Our Location: We are smack dab in the middle of some of New England's most beautiful lakes and mountains on a secluded residential street. Guest access Guests can park in the driveway at the home. Guests have access to the entire home and property, as well as a guest pass to Squam Lake beaches! Other things to note SPECIAL NOTE: We want you to enjoy the wood burning stoves IF you know how to use one! We provide the first bundle of wood, but if you plan to crank the stoves constantly, stop and bring some additional wood.
