Domaine des Monges – Riverfront Cottage

The Domaine des Monge consists of an elegant18th Century Manor House typical of the Gironde region which has been passionately renovated over the past years. On the first floor of the Maison are located three beautiful bedrooms available as B&B rental. You also have the exclusive use of the beautiful pool situated in the garden of the Cottage. A charming Cottage which can accommodate up to eight people completes the property. The space The name cottage is possibly an understatement for this 200 sq metre, 18th Century, stone home. The Cottage features four bedrooms : A parental suite with ensuite bathroom and dressing room is located at one end of the house At the other end a separate staircase leads to a further three double bedrooms and a second large bathroom with separate shower, bath and toilet. One of the bedrooms has two single beds. The beautifully tiled ground flloor living area includes : A large fully equipped family kitchen / dining area. A charming living room with exceptional, original art works, a games / television room. A separate toilet / laundry area – equipped with washer / dryer. The entire groung floor opens out onto an exceptional riverfront terrace surrounded by a stone pond filled with water lilies and very happy fish. The terrace features a rustic oak-beamed dining area equipped with BBQ facilities. A paved path leads from this terrace to an enclosed private pool (5 metres x 10 metres) with it’s raised teak deak looking out over magnificent river views. You can take advantage of a beautiful outside bathroom situated under a fig tree close to the pool. Guest access Garden and private swimming pool. Other things to note In July, August and September, the minimum stay is 7 days, starting on a Saturday.
