The Agritourismo is built in the traditional style of Mount Etna, and this loft is part of a larger chalet. The apartment is on the base of Mt. Etna, and has fantastic views over the bay of Taormina. Surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. In nature, yet close to Taormina, Randazzo and Catania, the loft is ideal to discover the true Sicily. The space This property can fit a maximum of 3 people and is 45 sqm. Recently fitted, in this loft there is a comfortable bed and a separate bathroom. If needed there is also a single bed. The apartment also has a flat screen TV, and a laundry machine. There is kitchen, and a private barbeque area. Towels and linen are included, and beds are made in preparation for your stay. In winter there is a gas heater available. Enjoy eating outside on our equipped terrace surrounded by Mount Etna and the panoramic views of Taorimina and the coast beyond. Here, on the natural reserve of Mount Etna, at 500 meters above sea level you will experience great views, amazing stargazing, pure air and no pollution at all. The property provides maximum privacy while allowing complete independence. This is the ideal location to explore the surrounding area, as it is close to Taormina, the natural marine reserve of Marina di Cottone, Catania, Castiglione di Sicilia and the Alcantara Gorges. Guest access The entire space. Other things to note Due to the area it is important to bring along trekking or tennis shoes. Please also note that the weather at Mt. Etna is subject to diurnal shifts, meaning that the temperature may vary between high and low temperatures during the same day. Therefore, please consider bringing a jumper even in summer. On request we can organise trekking with an experienced guide, wine and food tours from our very own vineyards and farms, and barbecues on our terrace. Please contact us for further information. As the Agritourismo is on Mount Etna, a UNESCO world heritage site, the wifi is limited (due to infrastructure restrictions) to e-mails, and messages. We kindly ask guests not to stream or download music or videos. Please note that the road up to the property is about to be refurbished so it will be bumpy, but is doable in any car, also please be aware that the loft has the only washing machine on the property, and we may ask if we can use it.
