Getting to the apartment couldn't be easier. 2 mins walk from Fortitude Valley Station or just 15min by car from the Airport. Surrounded by Brisbane's best nightlife, the Brisbane CBD, Chinatown, train station & endless cafes & restaurants. This is a foodies paradise and the perfect location to explore! You can walk to the best that Brisbane has to offer. For endless entertainment you have the stunning 55" TV with 4K resolution - pretty awesome, really. Don't forget to take advantage of the free bus (City Loop) a short walk from the apartment and the free ferry (City Hopper) from Eagle Pier in the Riverside. Where to go? The Valley is a hive of activity. Live music thrives and international DJs are drawn to the clubs and chic bars. By day, excellent restaurants vie for attention amongst organic beauty outlets and cool cafes. By night, a rock scene comes alive and the streets swell with the youth and the youthful of the local music scene. Staples of the Valley include Fatboys/Riks cafe, Cloudland and the Empire Hotel. The impressive Chinatown Mall is a hub of exotic Chinese supermarkets and restaurants. The Emporium complex channels a European village feel, James St showcases Australian fashion labels, and Brunswick St is home to multicultural dining options. Outside of The Valley you can visit: ✔︎ Brisbane Riverside is 10 minutes walk down the block. ✔︎ The Queen Street Mall, the most important shopping precinct and heart of Brisbane is only a few blocks away. ✔︎ South Bank parklands, museums, art gallery, beach, etc is approximately 30 min walk or very easy by public transport. It is a link to our website and includes detailed instructions, images and everything else to ensure a smooth check-in and an enjoyable stay. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SAME-DAY BOOKINGS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In order to make arrangements for housekeeping and check-in requirements, we require a booking lead time of at least one day. Hence, we cannot assure a 3pm check-in time for last-minute bookings, particularly when there is a departing guest. Guests who have made advance reservations and need to be checked-in are given priority over last-minute bookings. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ EARLY CHECK-IN REQUESTS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It's highly recommended to plan for a 3pm check-in time. Once your place is prepared, we will inform you accordingly. In case you require earlier access, you may consider booking the night before, subject to availability. While we strive to accommodate such requests, please note that unlike hotels, we do not have alternate rooms to offer. Hence, if a guest checks out on the same day as your arrival, the housekeeping team requires sufficient time to prepare the place, and we appreciate your patience and understanding in such situations. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Depending on our bookings and housekeeping schedules, it might be possible to arrange a later check-out time. Kindly get in touch with us after 8 pm on the day prior to your departure to verify if this can be arranged. We will make every effort to accommodate your request. However, if you need to check out after 12 pm, an extra night's fee will be levied and must be paid via the Airbnb Resolution Centre. This payment should be made the night before check-out; otherwise, housekeeping will be scheduled for the regular check-out time of 10 am. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ STARTER SUPPLIES ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In order to set realistic expectations, we offer essential starter supplies to make your stay more comfortable. These complimentary supplies comprise shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and a few other items. Please note that these supplies are not intended to last for the entire duration of your booking but are provided to avoid the need to rush to the supermarket immediately upon arrival. If you would like to request mid-stay services at any time during your booking, please inform us. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PORTACOT AND HIGH CHAIR ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ These are both available upon request. For safety & hygiene reasons, we don't provide linens & mattress for the portacot. This is due to the sensitive nature of precious baby skin and the detergents often used by large commercial laundries to clean these. It is much better for you to use fabrics, linens and to have your own mattress that are familiar to your baby's skin to avoid any sensitivities or allergic reactions. However, these cots do come with padded mat for the base. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OTHERS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kindly note that the lockbox is situated approximately 45m away from the building, which can be reached in less than a minute walk. Pets are not allowed - sorry, I love pets but some guest may have allergies. Valley House PWD/Senior/Pregnant lift is located to the left of the stairs. Unfortunately, if the mobility lift is not in service, the only access is through those stairs. We recommend to access through "FV No.1" ground floor looby. It is a longer route but avoids the use of the stairs. Please note that our apartment is located in a vibrant, progressive area, just a stone's throw away from the CBD. Due to its central location, there is the potential for noise from nearby bars, restaurants, and cafes. Additionally, the area is continually evolving, which may lead to ongoing construction in the surrounding vicinity, possibly resulting in some noise during your stay. For your safety and convenience, please do not use the property's mailbox/letterbox for receiving mail or packages.
