Picture yourself enjoying a sundowner while penguins roam the garden. At Penguin House, this image becomes a reality with double-volume glass sliding doors and windows inviting nature right into the light-filled open-plan living area. The space Watch the penguins roaming the garden while you braai on the sun-dappled veranda with its unpatrolled views of the Kogelberg mountains. Four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms complete the scene for an unforgettable family holiday. A play room with a ping pong table and a cosy fireplace will ensure that even rainy days are perfect. You will never want to leave! Guest access Whole house. Other things to note Please be aware that penguins can sometimes be noisy. Of course we believe that this is all part of the wonderful experience of living among penguins. Please check underneath your car before departing to ensure that penguins are not hiding under your car. The house has fibre, an alarm including beams. Outage globes are installed in the lounge and bedrooms for load shedding. We suggest you download the Eskom app for Betty's Bay to keep informed regarding load shedding, we are “Bettys Bay 2” on the Eskom se push app. If you have any portable solar lights, it would be a good idea for you to bring them along. Please note that Penguin House is self-catering. All bedding and towels are provided by BeinBettysBay and the house is fully equipped for all you will need for a comfortable stay. Please bring along your own food, drinks, beach towels and wood. We provide a starter kit that includes toilet paper, hand soap, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, black bags etc to get you started. The house is not serviced. If you would like to request a cleaner during your stay, please contact the BeinBettysBay office to make prior arrangements. This will be at an additional cost.
