Charming studio plus separate cozy cottage, zen garden and patio under the redwoods. Quiet, comfortable, super clean. Minutes from Sonoma's historic plaza and wine tasting. A perfect sanctuary for a group of 1 - 4 guests. Enjoy our Be Happy hideaway, designed for visiting artists, writers, business travelers, adventurers, world explorers and wine lovers! For info about the unique layout, including bathroom access and amenities, see PHOTOS, REVIEWS, DISCOUNTS, and read more about "The Space.." MORE ABOUT OUR "BE HAPPY" AIRBNB What to expect.. Ask about our 15% DISCOUNT if 1-2 guests are interested in only renting the Main Studio Queen Bedroom/Bath, including garden and patio. For a group of 1-4 guests, the property consists of two cozy separate bedrooms (Main Studio and Cottage), connected through a charming garden pathway and a peaceful patio, surrounded by redwoods, greenery, and open sky. It's a perfect place for a small group that is close to each other and doesn’t mind sharing a bathroom. For the guest(s) staying in the charming little cottage, it's only a 24-second (less than 1/2 minute) stroll through the garden-lit path to your private, shared group bathroom, located inside near the Main Studio. The bathroom has a shower/soaking tub, washer/dryer, iron, and hair dryer for your convenience. Both Main Studio and Cottage each have a cozy queen-sized bed. There is no kitchen, but each room has a mini-fridge, electric hot water kettle, coffee/tea, bottled/electrolyte/alkaline water, stevia, yogurt, healthy breakfast bars, and instant oatmeal. Air conditioner/heater are installed in both Main Studio and Cottage, including Hi-Speed Wifi, and cable TV. Directions when you arrive... Park in your own separate brick driveway. Come in through the gate to the courtyard. Walk along the vine covered pathway to the Tall Gate.. Open the Gate to your private hideaway and this place is all yours. The entrance to the Main Studio and bathroom is three short steps on your right. Or, continue walking through your private garden pathway to the cozy cottage and patio under the redwoods. Have your coffee/glass of wine on the intimate brick patio with outdoor table/seating. The peaceful garden and patio offer an inspiring setting for conversation, listening to the birds sing their hearts out, or gazing at the stars. **We support CDC cleaning guidelines, social distancing, and masks ** For your comfort and health, we use earth-friendly soaps, shampoo, organic non-fragrance cleaning products. Since some guests may be sensitive to heavy scents we thank you for not using them in the space. And we also thank you for not smoking on the property. Park in the single brick driveway, which we've reserved for you. Easy off street parking is also available. We'll say hello when you arrive and we like to show our guests to their rooms. After that, we respect your privacy, yet are quickly available should you need assistance or have any questions. *Due to the Pandemic, we may welcome our guests via phone/text. We are located five-seven minutes away (driving) from Sonoma's historic and lively downtown plaza, wineries, wine tasting, great cafes, restaurants (ask about our favorites), shops, art galleries, festivals and special events (wine, food, art, film and more) throughout the year. In the heart of the Plaza, or the "Square," as the locals call it, there are some fun clothing and gift stores... there are walkways through the park, a magnificent fountain, a small amphitheater, a playground, a clock tower, grass to lay out a blanket and have a picnic, plus a charming duck pond. There's something for everyone! Spas and yoga classes, Farmers' Market, indoor/outdoor performing arts and music venues (Sonoma Speakeasy is a cozy, cool little music/dance venue tucked away on the Square), movie theaters, a wonderful book store (Readers Books), and fun outdoor activities... The Bike Path, just off the Sonoma Square, is a favorite local spot for jogging, walking or biking, The Overlook Trail is great for a morning walk and casual hikers who want to experience a breathtaking view of Sonoma. A trail with panoramic views of Sonoma and the Bay is Bartholomew Park (just behind Bartholomew Park Winery). Jack London State Park has an excellent network of walks and trails, ranging in difficulty from 0 to 10. Golf, beaches, and more.. For thrills and excitement Sonoma Raceway at Sears Point attracts fans from around the world. Excellent location is 45 minutes from Golden Gate Bridge, 1.5 hours from SFO or OAK. Public transportation is limited, but there are bus, cab and Uber services. For the most flexibility, a car or bike are the best way to explore our beautiful Sonoma and nearby Napa Valley. Our friendly little bichon fluffy dog, lives with us in the main house, separate from the studio and cottage. On the other side of the main house is the Radio Magic Voice Over Studio, founded by your Super Host and voice over coach, Madeleine Wild. Madeleine is the author of "How to Be a Voice Over Success!" For over 25 years, she has coached and trained professionals and scores of voice over students/talents.
