COVID-19 Update - Cleanliness is my top concern and everything in the house is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected with at least 48 hours between guests. I am always available via text or phone. Casa Amarilla is an hour's drive from Albuquerque airport and half hour from Santa Fe airport and downtown. Easy day trips to Taos, Bandalier, Tent Rocks, Abiquiu, Los Alamos, Pecos National Park, Anasazi cliff dwellings, Las Vegas, NM. Two historic and funky towns, Cerrillos and Madrid are 20 mins away and offer horse back riding, galleries, cafes and a must visit rustic roadside saloon, Mine Shaft Tavern, with live music to give you the full New Mexican unique and authentic experience! No public transportation in Galisteo. The village of Galisteo does not have any stores but Eldorado is a 15 minute drive which has many amenities - food market, ATM, good casual restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, gas station and hardware store. Things to do - bird watching, hiking, horseback riding, scenic drives, cycling, photography, museums, shopping in Madrid and Santa Fe or just rest and relaxation. Lots of nearby walking trails.
