Master house in the heart of 2 hectares

Family house completely redesigned by an architect, perfect for holidays, family reunions, etc. in a classified village 45 km south of Bordeaux (highway). Day part isolated from night part, vast land around. Tennis, palombière, canal... Please note: the cellar and attic are not included in this rental. The space Pondaurat, the golden bridge, takes its Gascon name from its hospital complex on the road to Saint Jacques de Compostelle. The church, the medieval hospital, the mill and the bridge are classified as Historic Monuments. My century-old house was originally built for the wine trade, hence the cellar. Trade interrupted by the start of the 1914 war. Fun detail: the attic beams were made by my great grandfather with the wood recovered by him during the demolition/construction of the Castets bridge. To locate it via the Internet, it is a large square house at the exit of the village towards the stadium. Behind it are only woods. 2 hectares are directly attached to the house, you will see many rabbits, sometimes deer. The tennis courts located on the nearby stadium are accessible to you free of charge, ask Ms. Jamain for the key. La Bassane River behind the car parking lot. Guest access The house is a few kilometers from the "La Réole" exit on the Bordeaux Toulouse highway. Once you exit the highway, head towards La Réole, then a few hundred meters, head towards Pondaurat on your left. Once you arrive at the village, you turn right after the town hall towards the stadium or Bassane, it is the house on the left after the exit sign of the village. The whole house is for you, hence the need to contact Ms. Jamain beforehand. Other things to note There are a few bicycles on site, I do not count them in the rental because not being on site, I cannot guarantee the condition in which the previous occupants left them. Most often, they have been used and are in good working order. I review them whenever possible. Please note, a traveler has informed me that she had problems with the hot water. Please note that this is an electric hot water tank as specified in the welcome document. On arrival, it must be heated, because otherwise it remains in the automatic "rest" position. Then you don't need to do anything. Normally, there is enough water for the 15 people listed in the rental. Wood-burning stove: remember to bring some logs (possibly compressed wood) to fuel the stove. I can no longer provide it due to the very different practices of the house guests.
