A stone's throw from the mythical plateau of 1000 ponds, this gîte combines the charm of the countryside, neat decoration and comfortable facilities. Whether you're looking for tranquility, an escape in the middle of nature or simple moments to share with friends or family, this place invites you to slow down and recharge. The space Here, everything is designed to make you feel good, whether you come to rest, share good times or explore the area. On the ground floor, you can enjoy a large bright and friendly living space: - A fully equipped kitchen (large fridge, dishwasher, oven, gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils, dishes; coffee, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar provided) - A large family table in the dining room - A GODIN wood-burning stove, ideal for creating a warm atmosphere at meals - A comfortable living room with sofas, large smart TV, game console and pellet stove for cozy evenings. A central spiral staircase provides access to the upper floor: - Two double bedrooms, decorated with simplicity and care - A large bathroom with shower, bathtub, sink, electric towel dryer, hairdryer and storage - A cozy living room with vinyl turntable, ideal for reading, listening to music or relaxing The third double bedroom is located on the top floor. Outside, our large lot offers many corners to sit and enjoy: - Two furnished terraces, sunny at different times of the day - A covered summer kitchen with barbecue for friendly meals - A hammock corner for a quiet break - A vegetable garden - And a chicken coop! If you'd like, you can feed the chickens and pick up fresh eggs every morning - a simple pleasure Amenities and services available: - WIFI - Board games - Raclette and fondue appliances - 4 classic bikes - 2 electric mountain bikes for rent (€25/half day, €35/day - Deposit required) - Skis available in winter - Private parking on site - Pets welcome at no extra charge Our gîte is conveniently located to discover the plateau of 1000 ponds, paradise for hikers, cyclists, riders or photographers. In the immediate vicinity: - Hiking trails from the village - Bike and horseback rides - Fishing, river swimming - Local markets and producers - Restaurants and small shops within walking distance We remain available during your stay to answer any questions you may have, recommend an activity, or simply help you make the most of the house and area. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house and outdoors, with the exception of a few technical and private spaces. You can fully enjoy: - The interior of the house: kitchen, dining room, living room, upstairs living room, three bedrooms and bathroom - The exterior: the entire plot of about 2 hectares, two terraces, hammock area, summer kitchen, vegetable garden and henhouse. Free private parking within the property. Check-in is always in person. We will be there upon arrival to hand you the keys, show you around and answer any questions you may have. During your stay, we remain available if needed, while letting you enjoy the place with peace of mind. Other things to note - The house is an old farmhouse from 1793 and access to the upper floor is via a spiral staircase. - The cottage is not equipped with air conditioning but the old walls keep it cool in summer. - Heating is provided by two stoves (wood and pellets) as well as electric heaters in the bedrooms in winter - Wood and pellets are provided. - Linens are included: sheets, towels, tea towels. - We provide some baby equipment on request. - Pets are welcome, we just ask that you let us know at the time of booking. - You are welcome to feed the chickens and collect the eggs, if you like! - The garden, vegetable garden and outdoors are at your disposal, with several shaded or sunny corners to relax. - The house is non-smoking inside. Smoking is of course allowed outdoors, making sure to use the ashtrays provided. - The land is partially enclosed and part remains open. We simply invite you to keep an eye on your children and four-legged companions during their explorations.
