The Stained Glass Apt. Edgewater #1

The space * I live here and I also have another room listed on the site! There's no self check in and I have to be here to let you in.* My apartment is on the third floor of a three flat brick building on a quiet tree lined street in Edgewater. It was built 1916 in Prairie style featuring high ceilings, amazing woodwork and stained glass all of which have been restored. I'm a big fan of flea markets and antique stores so my home is filled with beautiful curiosities. My friend calls it "The museum" but don't let that scare you :) The place has a really comfy and peaceful vibe. It is spacious and open in the way that one can stand at one end of the apartment and see through to the other end. There is an enclosed sunporch in the front of the house which offers a serene view of the tops of trees. The bedroom I can offer has a comfortable double bed and a most prized Eastlake antique dresser with egyptian pharaoh head drawer pulls. There is one shared bathroom in the apartment. P.S. I usually do not accept requests without a good amount of information about the guests. So please write a detailed profile. Thank you! Other things to note Please let me know if you intend on bringing a vehicle. There is permit parking on my street so depending on the duration of your stay, we would need to discuss the options! If you are a smoker but intent on smoking outside the apartment please know that this can be problematic. There are three units in this building and none of my neighbors smoke so it's not okay to smoke in the hallway or in the back yard. It is also not a good thing if you intend to smoke just before you enter the house. I'm extremely sensitive/ allergic. So pretty much the only way it's going to work is if you are a light smoker do not smoke anywhere near my house! Registration Details R22000091618
