Quiet double room in central Stroud location
Description
Quiet, secluded location very close to the centre of Stroud. 5 minutes walk to railway station with links to Cheltenham, Bath, Bristol, London. Many interesting cafes, restaurants and pubs are within easy walking distance in addition to a major supermarket and a local convenience store. Not to be missed is the Saturday Farmers' Market, the first of its kind in Britain and only a few minutes walk away. We enjoy meeting people from all over the world as we ourselves are well travelled. The space The double bedroom is on the first floor of our split level, modern detached property and is situated next to the bathroom which is yours to use exclusively. There are beautiful views from the room along one of Stroud's Five Valleys and across to Rodborough Fort which is situated on the edge of National Trust common land. The bed is suitable for one or two adults. Tea and coffee making facilities are in the room. We are a non-smoking household. Breakfast is provided in the form of tea, coffee, orange juice, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, home-made muffins and bread etc. Advance notice of any allergies is required. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the living room, dining room and conservatory. Our four tier garden is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the views. Free WiFi is available throughout the house. During your stay We are a sociable couple and one of us will always be here to greet you and having lived here for many years, have a good amount of local knowledge. We are very flexible and want you to enjoy your stay. Please feel free to interact with us as much or as little as you like. If you are interested in golf Richard is more than happy to take you for a round on the local course which is on common land. Be warned! You may have to play around the cows! Other things to note Built in the 1980's our house is tucked away in the oldest part of Stroud. Parking is no problem as we have a large private drive.
