And along with your private room and connected private bathroom are several guest common areas (not part of the hosts' living area). Our charming old house will perfect your trip to the green mountains of Vermont. Our interaction with our guests is limited. We try to be there in person to greet our guests, but give our guests their space. A key will be provided inside your room for your use during your stay. The house is within driving distance of Mount Snow (25 Min), the Honora Winery (directly across the street), and the small town shops of Wilmington, VT (10 Min). The village of Jacksonville features a general store, cheese artisan, wine bar, winery, public library, post office, salon, and local potter. A short drive (less than 5 min) will bring you to the Brigham Young Memorial, local playground and park, Lake Sadawga and the Harriman Reservoir (the largest single body of water completely in the state of Vermont). We do recommend having a car for your stay here. Although there are some great things within walking distance, most major destinations are a short drive away. There is a bus line that runs through town and can provide transportation to larger destinations like Mount Snow, Wilmington, Bennington and Brattleboro.
