Riverside Location - Bedroom with Ensuite & Lounge

An ideal location for exploring the Dorset countryside, Jurassic coast or simply visiting the local beaches. Stourbank House enjoys a unique riverside setting immediately adjacent to the River Stour and 15th Century Crawford Bridge in Spetisbury. Guests enjoy a modern double bedroom looking upstream onto the river. In addition, tea and coffee making facilities are provided together with smart tv. Immediately off the bedroom is a good sized ensuite with shower. Continental breakfast is included. The space Guests are welcome to enjoy the unique riverside location relaxing in the garden and also have exclusive use of the first floor living room which has stunning views across the river and open fields beyond. Fresh clean bed linen and towels are provided for use during the stay. In addition to a private ensuite with shower there is also a large (shared) bathroom should you prefer to have a relaxing bath. The bedroom is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults plus baby or infant (up to 5 years of age). Please contact us should you require an additional room, we will advise availability and cost. NOTE: Advance notice required if travel cot or infant bed required. The area is popular with walkers, bird watchers and nature lovers. In addition, there are numerous opportunities for stunning photographs, so if photography is your thing then you will not be disappointed. There are plenty of local attractions with Blandford Forum a 5 min drive, Wimborne Minster a 15 min drive and the nearby towns of Bournemouth and Poole a 25 min drive. A regular bus service also runs from Blandford to Poole passing through the village with bus stop a short walk for the property. Guest access During their stay guests will enjoy exclusive access to their bedroom, ensuite and first floor living room. In addition, shared access is provided to the main bathroom, ground floor dining area, garden and decking area which includes outside sofas and coffee table. Please note we do not provide any kitchen facilities and guests are not permitted to cook on the premises. During your stay One of us is usually home during the day to answer any questions, give advice on places to visit etc. Happy to chat, but equally understand if you want your own space.
