Welcome to Rauchenbichl Castle in the heart of Salzburg city. Our newly renovated apartment is located in a historic estate at the foot of the Kapuzinerberg and is just a leisurely walk to the city center. The Rauchenbichlerhof is an imposing listed castle, with its own Baroque garden, which was first mentioned by name in 1120 and in which the former mistress of the French Emperor Napoleon I lived in 1831. The space Enjoy the entrance into your own historic castle park, along a fountain figure to your personal private entrance. Shortly thereafter, you will be greeted by an anteroom decorated with Untersberger marble, which leads directly into the spacious kitchen with a small bar. The modern, innovative kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, a stove, as well as a dishwasher, dishes, pots and cutlery. From the kitchen, to your right, through the archway with its own family crest, you enter a stylishly furnished living room with medieval vaulting, where there is a spacious, comfortable sofa bed as well as a flat-screen TV, a workstation as well as a dining table with a comfortable bench and a cozy tiled stove. Back in the kitchen, a short walk leads to a newly renovated bathroom - equipped with a spacious bathtub with shower combination and fresh towels - as well as to the tastefully furnished bedroom, where there is a spacious double bed, from which you can enjoy a magnificent view of the beautiful castle garden. Directly in the castle garden, which is surrounded by hidden walls, you have your own private parking space. There is also a bus stop right next to the estate, as well as a supermarket, a pharmacy and a very good inn (Urbahnkeller). Another highlight for all mountain and hiking enthusiasts is certainly the Kapuzinerberg, via which you can hike directly from the property to the old town of Salzburg.
