Home is freshly painted with new lighting, ceiling fans and plenty of updates. House features 2 bedrooms, huge screened porch, living room, formal dining room, rec room, fenced yard. Note - owner often stays in the garage apartment out back. When she is not in town, there is a professional local host. The space If you like authentic retro, coastal Florida details, then this is YOUR happy place. Our carefully appointed vintage style abode will take you back to a time when life was a little slower and the beaches were full of dedicated sun worshippers that hadn’t yet heard of SPF 30! You’ll enter through the enclosed front porch where there is lots of room for hanging out and relaxing. If you bring a bike, there is secure storage space as well. The living and dining rooms are full of fun, retro details. The couch is an authentic Ficks and Reed bamboo beauty that was the vanguard of “Florida room” living back in the 1950s. The dining room has plenty of seating and features a vintage bar cart full of glassware for making some tropical cocktails to enjoy. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots and pans and lots of gizmos for putting together meals of any size. When you’re finishing just load the dishwasher and go. The front bedroom has a sumptuous queen size, plantation style bed with wardrobe stocked with ironing board, iron and other household items. There is an armoire with amply room for all hanging clothes. The 2nd bedroom will take you back to camp with fun rustic touches that will make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Not to worry though, the mattresses are brand new and the linens are super comfy. The bath is stocked with towels and there is a washer and dryer adjacent to the room for your convenience. The yard is fenced for privacy and there are outdoor chairs to use and enjoy. Parking on the street is easy right out front! The owner often stays in the garage apartment out back but there is a local, professional manager as she is often out of town.
