Quaint, peaceful wooden lodge , Norfolk Broads

“Pottles Retreat” is a cosy open plan log cabin. Has one double bedroom with drawers, shelving,hanging space. The living area has a futon, well equipped kitchen with counter top oven and hob,fridge, smart tv and fast Wifi There is also a breakfast area where you can sit and eat and have an amazing vantage point over the fields and beyond. ( binoculars are provided too) The contemporary bathroom has a shower cabin, basin vanity unit, wc, heated towel rail. Hot and cold running water. The space We are a 7 minute walk to The Ferry House Pub which is right beside the River Yare, which serves hearty meals all day. There is also another pub in the village, again with a picturesque river location, Coldham Hall. We are surrounded by lovely walks, and it is a truly relaxing place to unwind and getaway from the stresses of every day life! There is nothing more relaxing than seeing The Norfolk Broads and all it’s wonderment by boat! With plenty of places nearby to hire from or organised trips to go on, it will make your stay here even more enjoyable! Guest access The cabin has its own raised patio area and a secure fenced private part of the garden accessed via a gate for sitting, reading or sunbathing. The rest of the garden is in 1/2 an acre of well tended gardens and large lawn. With open countryside views all around. Other things to note We also have our very friendly mixed breed dog, Rolo who likes to meet and greet guests. We just ask if the gate to the road be kept shut , apart from when guests are coming and going of course! We welcome up to two well behaved small/ medium dogs, there is a £20 charge per dog per stay.
