Cosy Cob Cottage on the edge of Dartmoor
Description
Ducks Alley is a cosy quirky cottage on the edge of Dartmoor National Park that can sleep unto 4 adults and 2 children. It has all the essentials for a stay on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Dinner with a view in the large back garden or an evening by the woodburner. The cottage has been lovingly restored to offer a stay with a difference. Come, relax, cook and enjoy the great outdoors. The space The house has an open plan Kitchen / living space with large wood burning stove and extending dining table, bathroom and two bedrooms and a family bathroom upstairs. To the front is a small garden/parking space, access via the front porch. To the rear of the house is a porch with a washing machine and tumble drier, leading to a glass covered patio with seating and a Sheilamaid washing airer. Up the stairs through the terraced garden leads to the veg bed (please feel free to pick your own here), and then to the lawned area with a large table and upto 6 chairs. Guest access Parking for a small/medium car is available immediately outside the house. For larger/other vehicles there is parking on the left on the main road or down the lane. We are really sorry by the house is not wheelchair friendly, with lots of steps and steep stairs and no toilet on the ground floor.
