This cottage is ideally located for exploring the Lake District, Arnside/Silverdale AONB, Leighton Moss and Yorkshire Dales. The settlement of Hilderstone can be traced back to the 13th century. The barn was built originally in c1750. There is still a working farm as part of the 200 acre Hilderstone Farm. A great base for outdoor activities. Spacious well appointed fitted kitchen with electric oven/hob, microwave, fridge, ice machine, dishwasher, washing machine and TV. Dining area allows for socialising. Both bedrooms with lovely comfortable beds and en-suite facilities. Spacious lounge with TV and Bluetooth Bose docking speaker. Guest access Guests have the entire cottage with a private patio entrance and seating area including a covered well adding a unique feature. Further private patio area accessed from lounge. Parking available for 2 cars. Access via electric gates for added security. Other things to note Wi-Fi signal improved October2022, with now good coverage throughout the property. For guests with dogs, there is a paved yard at the entrance to Hilderstone Stable which can be secured when the gate stored behind the oil tank is pulled across. There is also a recently secured and paved patio area at the front of the property, with gated access to the lawn for exclusive use by our guests.
