Both of my first-floor bedroom listings have ample in-room refrigerators and a simple desk and lamp for making the most of your laptop time...(sending pics to friends back home!) Closets and in room shelving are ready and waiting for holding your things. Guest access Our Guests may use the front porch entrance which opens to living room and the access to both private bedrooms and the shared bathroom. Guests have shared access to living room with dining table and comfy couch and chairs, --plus access to front porch and backyard. We provide shared access to Kitchen for light meals and beverages. No microwave in kitchen. Washer & dryer available upon request for small fee. House does not have TV or Cable. House is full of books and records, rocks and minerals, art and beauty, --and a good helping of love and appreciation! During your stay So grateful that you're opting to stay in my home. I live, play and work from my home office and nearby offices... and I am often awake from early morning until late evenings for my two passions— Coaching & Wellness advocacy and Creative Design consulting . My intention for you while you are my guest is that you will have your home-away-from-home needs attended to on a self-serve basis, and that our welcoming neighborhood and diverse city can provide the remainder! Other things to note The Beautiful orange tabby in my photos (Miss Chance) has passed on and yet she was with us for 18 years... so seems fitting that her spirit is still here. In my first 2 years of Hosting, our senior kitty quietly reigned over her home kingdom, greeting everyone with gentle loving equanimity. In 2020 we have adopted a new kitty-- a loving and lively silver tabby named Miss Skye Silvermist. --She has added a new energy and childlike joy to our home. She generally likes anyone who will engage with her and also enjoys being held. And, because not everyone is needing "a kitty connection" 24/7, ( LOL) we have created areas of the house where you can easily choose a cat-free experience (especially in your room!) In my hosting, I strive to give you peace and quiet and privacy. If you will kindly respect my home and it's personal treasures, it is deeply appreciated! And Please, no smoking, (or vaping). --nor drugs of any kind in my home, or on my property. In gratitude and appreciation I welcome you with open arms and a big heart-open hug. He is a quiet college grad returned from study abroad and working a tech job in the Richmond area. He's a kind-hearted, cat-loving fellow who mostly keeps to himself... and I'm so grateful to have him here for this time.
