Set in the beautiful South Downs National Park, this 17th Century Cottage is within a short stroll away from Cowdray Park. Goodwood racecourse is easily accessible. The beautiful town of Petworth & Chichester are a short drive away. The space 'Pippin' Cottage is a refurbished listed 17th Century cottage which offers very comfortable accommodation. The cottage is tastefully decorated with farrow & ball paints, limestone flooring, sisal & oatmeal coloured carpets and linens. In the lovely sitting room there's a wood burning stove for those cosy nights in. A sofa, two armchairs, a window seat & dining area. In the fitted kitchen there's a Smeg cooker, fridge/freezer, tassimo coffee machine supplied with coffee pods, a toaster and washing machine. You'll find various teas, coffee, cereal, croissants or bread, butter, milk, orange juice and biscuits for your stay. You can relax & enjoy your morning coffee sitting on the window seat or in the small private courtyard which leads off the kitchen. Off the spacious upstairs landing you'll find the bedroom where a comfortable double bed awaits with crisp white bedding. Also the bathroom with bath which has a hand held shower. Please note; for those of you lucky enough to be over 6'3" you may find some of the beams challenging! Guest access There's a small private sunny courtyard for your use with table, four chairs, cushions & umbrella. Great for dining or just enjoying a glass of wine in. Also there is an egg swing chair with cushions - great for snuggling up in to read. Other things to note Parking for the cottage is near the Cowdray farm shop - a short stroll away. Parking outside the cottage is strictly to unload & reload your luggage. Linen, towels, loo paper, hand wash, washing powder, washing up liquid, dishcloth & tea-towels, instant coffee plus tassimo coffee, breakfast tea plus fruit teas, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, logs & kindling to get you started are provided. Also there are plenty of magazines, books, cd's & dvd's at your disposal.
