The Old School House

Come and stay in The Old School House at Lightning Ridge – circa 1912, relocated from town to the Three Mile opal field. It’s in a great position with bitumen road and 500 meters on a gravel road used by miners. Nestled in bush land, with kangaroos, birds and amazing night skies. Don't miss this country dream. The space The Old School House was moved to its current position in 1996 as an addition to our home and growing family. It has lovely wide verandahs and is in a peaceful setting. It has a rich history and retains its old world charm. Guest access Guests have the use of the whole house with 3 bedrooms, Kitchen, hallway and 'Gallery' with day bed and room for mattresses if needed. There is also a desk and wifi. Other things to note I live next to The Old School House on the Opal fields and will send the directions when you book. There is a key pad so you can let yourselves in.
