Whether you are looking for a cozy get-away or a home base to explore Tahoe area, our modest cabin is the perfect spot. Our cabin is perfectly located on the hearth of South Lake Tahoe. Our little cabin's charm is its simplicity. It is a simple and functional two-story cabin primarily used by our family. Our VHR permit allows 8 people, including infants, and 2 medium cars. No exceptions. Our cabin is professionally cleaned and disinfected. It is not a luxury cabin and it does not have luxury amenities. For the vast majority of our guests, this does not detract from their experience at the house; however, if you are looking for a luxury space that is aesthetically perfect on the inside, this isn’t it. *** The cabin features two levels: the first floor includes a living area, dining room, bathroom, kitchen, and two bedrooms; the second floor offers an additional living area, bathroom, and two bedrooms. All bedding is new, and the cabin receives ample natural light. Situated for year-round accessibility, our cabin provides easy access to Lake Tahoe's most stunning locations, such as Emerald Bay and Mount Tallac. Guests can enjoy a wide array of nearby outdoor activities, beaches, grocery stores, dining options, world-class ski resorts, public transportation, and entertainment. During the day, you'll find yourself conveniently close to all amenities, while at night, you'll experience the tranquil ambiance of a peaceful woodland retreat. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin. Other things to note SAFETY * Our cabin is not child proof. Extreme caution must be used when children are occupying the premises * Guest(s) understand that it is the guest(s) responsibility to watch after any child that is on the property * Be very careful of falling branches around the property during winter time and spring. We do tree maintenance often, but branches could fall anytime at the end of winter season. HEATING - A/C * The cabin's heating system distributes warmth unevenly between the floors. The first floor enjoys full heating, while the second floor receives partial heat. We've provided room heaters for the upstairs rooms should you need them. * No A/C. Fans are provided for summer months. CABIN LIMITATIONS * No washer/dryer * No fireplace * No outdoor fires of any type * Potential for noise
