A quiet oasis in Seattle

Relax in a comfortable, eco-friendly private home in Magnolia. The cozy, soothing bedroom, while small - 9x11 - has an antique double brass bed, a dresser, bedside table, chair, and closet. A private bathroom is across the hall. The host lives in the house. The guest room has a ceiling and floor fan, but no air conditioning. Located near Discovery Park, 4 miles from Pier 91, and only 15 minutes to downtown or Ballard. There is usually space in front of the house to park for free on the street. The space This home has been lovingly cared for. It is furnished with antiques I have found and reclaimed. The home is surrounded by gardens and lots of birds, rabbits and other wildlife. Enjoy the comfortable surroundings, green spaces, or take in the active city life just a short distance away. The home is located adjacent to Discovery Park, 4 miles from Pier 91, and only 15 minutes to downtown or Ballard. There is usually space in front of the house to park for free on the street. I used to have cats but the last one passed away in Feb. 2023. Guest access Located within in a quiet neighborhood of Magnolia, within easy walking distance to Magnolia Village (2 miles) with restaurants, coffee spots and shops, Discovery Park, the Ship Canal and Ballard. I greet guests on arrival and provide a key to the house. Self check-in is not available since a keyless entry won't work with my front door. Local transportation: Downtown is 15 to 20 minutes by bus, with a stop for #33 just a half mile away. To ride the bus, you will need exact fare of $2.75 in U.S. currency. I am usually available in person, or by text or email. If you have a question or need something, just let me know. Other things to note Laundry services for guests are not provided at the Airbnb. If you need to wash clothes, check out the laundromat recommended by a previous guest: it's called Transformation Surprise. The laundromat is located at 5505- 8th Ave. NW.
