Three Little Birds Cottage has three bedrooms with three en suite bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a beautiful, quiet, secret garden with patio and outdoor furnishings. It sleeps 10 comfortably and is located next to the Charente River in the picturesque château village of Verteuil sur Charente. You have private secured parking, a covered entertainment space with ping-pong and games. A short walk to the village gives you access to restaurants, bars, boulangerie…It’s a fun place to stay! The space Three Little Birds Cottage has three bedrooms and three baths with a total of five double beds. It sleeps 10 comfortably. The Bluetit bedroom is on the ground floor and features two double beds. This room is accessible for those who cannot navigate the stairs, which makes it ideal for people with disabilities or very young children. The Hoopoe bedroom, and the Hummingbird bedroom are on the first floor up the stairs . The cottage is a barn conversion, so it has multiple large wooden beams, which give it so much charm. While dating back to the 1700s, it did have a recent remodel so all of the amenities are modern and convenient. The cottage is kept impeccably clean. There is a little balcony area with books and games for every age. The kitchen comes fully equipped, and there is ample seating. Out the back door, you will find a beautiful patio with outdoor furnishings and a lovely quiet garden with multiple seating areas. The resident hens are peaceful, silly and friendly to guests. In the courtyard, there is also a covered entertainment area for when the weather does not cooperate. Featured here, are furnishings, a ping-pong table, games, and a dartboard. The cottage is located right next to the Charente River in the picturesque village of Verteuil sur Charente. It’s a very short walk into the village, where you will find restaurants bars, boulangerie, boucherie, brocante, Sunday market, live music… Guest access Guests who rent the entire cottage have full access to it privately, as well as the garden. While you are staying, I will need to access the garden occasionally just to care for the chickens and hang linens on the line. Other than that it is entirely yours. You also have full access to the shared covered courtyard entertainment area with couches, ping-pong table, dartboard, and games. This is a nice place to relax when the weather is not cooperating. There is secured parking in the courtyard, first come first served.
