Lake OGLE SAUNA

A floating sauna built from natural materials, which is a great opportunity to stay overnight, escape the noise of the city and blend in with nature. The sauna is built from natural and recycled materials. The night house comes with a heated sauna, brooms, towels, bathrobes, slippers and body cosmetics. There is no electricity on the platform, but solar lamps charged by the sun provide muted and romantic lighting. We offer a bio-toilet. For an additional fee, you can purchase sauna rituals. The space A glamping style cottage that is very comfortable and quiet so guests can listen to the sounds of nature without being disturbed. Minimal but thoughtful amenities. The floating platform consists of a sauna room, a living room and an outdoor deck with a country-style sink, bathtub and bio toilet. Spring water is available. Guests are offered a pre-heated sauna, where they can bathe with brooms they have woven themselves. Please request brooms before arrival. A pair of freshly woven brooms costs 5 euros. For an additional fee, guests are offered special sauna rituals led by sauna master Kalvis Kalniņš. Lake sauna OGLE is located in a picturesque lake and forest land near the Mordanga border. You can go on lake tours or hikes in the woods. 1.5 km away is Spare Manor, you can go for a walk in Spare Park or go on Spare Trail (15km) through picturesque Kurzeme nature places. Guest access Guests are invited to leave the car in the yard of the owners' house and go to the place from where the guests will be taken by boat to the floating sauna. Guests will have their own boat that can be used for a tour of the lake or to get to the shore.
