Mountain Meadows Inn has 3 very separate, spacious/cozy Suites. This Trillium Suite has a queen-bed, futon couch (full-bed) & private bathroom (shwr/bathtub), Complimentary Bfast items in the kitchen. (Kitchen for light use - no stove/oven due to regulations, but rather a microwave). Dining room & porch allow for 6’ distancing. We are cleaning/disinfecting, strictly according to AirBnb Guidelines. WiFi (high-speed). Hottub (privately-scheduled time). Campfire (complimentary wood). Enjoy! The Trillium Suite has its own very private area, with its own bathroom. Two keys allow for easy access and yet privacy (to the Inn and to your specific Suite). Linens and quilts are provided; towels and toiletries are also provided. There is a beautiful view of a wooded, park-like area, which is private, outside your own set of windows. Guests have access to the surrounding area, with cedar, douglas fir and western hemlock trees. There are lawns with wild-flowers throughout, for enjoyment. There is also a campfire area (complimentary wood). Guests also have access to the wrap-around Veranda (with a propane fire-stove). The Hottub is also in a private, park-like setting, with private scheduling as well. We also send you an email for your locked-box code, 2 to 3 days prior to arrival! Ralph and I are available to help orient guests to the Hottub, their Suite and the surrounding area. At same time, we respect guest’s privacy and desire for R & R. We provide a Welcome Notebook, with 35-pages of information about hikes and sights in the area (written by a woman, who explored this area for years). Also, even though there are three very separate Suite in the Inn, there are the common areas of the living room, dining room and kitchen; yet, Guests have been amazing at respecting the regulations of safety during this challenging time. They have respected themselves and others. Often, Guests come and go at such different times, they don’t even see one another. Also, Guests choose how much they would like to interact or not. Yet, often Guests learn from one another, about favorite hikes, restaurants and other places to see. It is a win-win. Ashford is one-third of a mile from us and is an enjoyable, mountain village by Mt. Rainier. It has an Espresso shop (with ice cream), a world-renowned RMI Climbing School and Sports Store, the International Climbing School, two small grocery stores, Pottery Shop, small art shop, as well as, several highly-enjoyable restaurants (moderately-priced)within four miles. We are also only 6 miles from the main entrance to Mt. Rainier, which has the Longmire area (with many beautiful sights, trails and an Inn restaurants a museum and gift shops), as well as, the Paradise area, which is very magical area... We are only about 1 and 1/2 hours from Seattle; yet, we are in a country-setting by Mt. Rainier. We don't have a transit system in our area, so automobiles, motorcycles or bicycles are needed...For mountain climbers, attending some of the programs, there is a shuttle to-and-from the Airport - yet without transportation in the area or up into NP. If going through a Guide program, then this might be sufficient - it is approximately $250 roundtrip. There are winter activities from about November through. Equipment may be rented at the sports store in Ashford. There is sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and snow-boarding. Then, in the late Spring through to early Autumn, there are many hiking and climbing trails. Some guests will hike to Camp Muir (at 10,000 feet) and others will work on ascents to the top of Mt. Rainier (usually with Guides). There is also amazing sight-seeing...something for everyone. By popular request, we offer complimentary self-service breakfast items in the kitchen (on the counter and in the Guest’s refrigerator/freezer). Guests like this style as they awaken at such different times (some people like to arise early to hike and other people like to sleep-in, especially after a flight). The breakfast generally consists of bagels, yogurt, breakfast sandwiches, waffles, cereals, juice, condiments (peanut butter cups, jam, cream cheese), coffee, tea, hot cocoa, creamers and sugar. We feel so honored to have such truly wonderful guests. You will have the opportunity to talk with one another or remain more private (totally at your discretion)...it is very relaxing and enjoyable here and in this park-like setting.
