BATTLE BESSIE a unique vehicle with a difference.

Battle Bessie is a unique ammunition wagon which served her country for 21 years. She has been lovingly converted to a 1940s home front style complete with four poster bed, vintage kitchen and sole use private and toilet/shower room on site. Enjoy the stunning Shropshire views and sunsets from Bessies rear balcony. She is located less than 3o minutes from historic Shrewsbury in the pretty rural village of Northwood Shropshire. There are two village pubs within walking distance. The space All bedding is included, as is towels and some toiletries. The bed is full size double but does have a footboard. There are three steps to access the bed as the drawers and cupboards are located underneath the bed. Guest access Guests have the use of the bone China and cutlery. They will have access to the area surrounding the wagon, but it is a working horse yard and guests should refrain from entering the stables and fields containing horses without prior permission. A fire pit and barbeque is available for guests to use. Other things to note as we are within walking distance to the world renowned Whixhall and Bettisfield Mosses, Bessie is the prefect spot for a bit of bird or wildlife watching, either from her rear balcony or by a short walk to the mosses. Whixall is one of the few places in the UK where you can experience the sight of stunning murmurations.
