Downstairs: Queen and 1 queen sleeper – view of the pool area. No climbing any stairs. 2nd Floor: Five rooms with queen beds. One with 2 additional singles. Another with a rollaway. Two rooms have exterior entrances that open out onto a walkway that leads to a large open-air deck. First exterior room - queen and a rollaway Second exterior room - queen and two singles. 2nd floor Historic Interior: Two queen bedrooms with custom double-arched marble showers and jetted whirlpools. The third room has a queen sleigh bed and a cozy step-down sitting room. The Cottage: Located poolside, this charming retreat features a tall king bed, gas fireplace, and a cozy sitting area. The spacious bathroom includes a big walk-in shower, while the TV and surround sound system adds to movie night. There's a mini-fridge for drinks and snacks, and unwind in the 4-person therapy spa on the back porch (see pics). Two rollaways are available if needed. A casual dining room, library with remote-controlled fireplace, and a large newly remodeled quartz kitchen - acts as the hub of the house - the grand Central of entertaining. The kitchen: All new stainless appliances - a super fun 5x8 center island, two convection ovens, five-burner gas stove, 31 Cu. Ft. double-drawer refrigerator, warming drawer, over-the-range microwave, three-compartment sink, hand sink, Cambria Quartz countertops, and lots of cabinet storage space. Cookware, everyday and formal place settings, glassware, cutlery, etc. NO glassware outside at any time, please. STARTER ITEMS: You may need to purchase more based on your personal consumption - we supply kitchen garbage bags, tin foil, cling wrap, and dishwasher detergent. Some disposable plates, cups, knives forks, and spoons. 2 rolls of Toilet Paper per room - basic shower soap. 2 Paper towels, some coffee pods, misc. spices in cabinet. Dollar General is close by for extra supplies. TWO refrigerators and ICE makers: We store ice in advance of your stay in the main kitchen French-door refrigerator. You'll find a second refrigerator with an ice maker and a 2nd microwave in the downstairs back hallway about 15 feet from the kitchen. A wraparound porch extends across the front and one side of the house with rockers, swivel chairs, and a table with four chairs. Sunsets on the 600 square feet upper deck are spectacular. A wonderful balcony height round 6 person table and very comfortable swivel chairs - set the scene for sunset dining and FUN star gazing evenings. Measured in one-way distances: We are 30 minutes south of Silver Springs State Park for Glass bottom boat rides and kayaking down the silver river. Four mins from Weirsdale's Orange Blossom Opry. 10 mins from The Villages for shopping and entertainment 5-9 nightly. 10 mins from Lake Weir and Carney Island public boat ramps and beachfront park with a kids playground and picnic areas. 35 min. to the Ocala National Forest, Juniper and Alexander beautiful natural springs for kayaking, picnicking and hiking.
