NOTE: Base price for 2 is for one of the bedrooms for 2 guests only. 3rd-12th guest will be chargeable per additional guests to unlock the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. Unpaid bedrooms will be locked. Your privacy will be ensured as the other rooms will not be rented to other guests even if you only book one room. Pick up from airport or ferry terminal in Tagbilaran is available for free for bookings of 14 nights and above (not applicable to super discounted rates). Location and Convenience In this simple and locally designed villa, located at Naatang, Jagna, in the southern part of Bohol. This vacation house is by the sea. It offers private bliss to both domestic and international tourists who want to unwind and get away from it all, or to those who simply want to sample the provincial life in a fishing village and the view of Mindanao sea. Glass windows and doors offer natural light and striking sea views, and on clear days, you will enjoy the silhouette of Camiguin Island and the fjord of Guindulman and Anda. More about the seaside house Staying in your own vacation rental house provides you with the privacy of your own home, within your affordable budget. We have a house caretaker who will clean the garden and the terraces on call, except Sundays and public holidays. In the morning, it offers a beautiful sunrise. In the evenings you can look forward to the breathtaking full moon or sea breeze, which you can enjoy while sitting at the veranda or gazebo. For more than one month rental, feel free to contact us for the price. A deposit of at least 1/3 (non refundable) is required to reserve the dates. RULES, CANCELLATIONS, AND OTHER REMINDERS: 1. Cancellation Fee applies Guest access Access to the nearby pebbled Alejawan beach, wifi, shades & breeze brought by the coconut palms and the open spaces around the property. We designed this vacation home as a respite from city life, to have a break from life routines, live simply and enjoy the sea breeze. You have access to your room and common areas. Rooms have locks. Please don't go into others rooms, unless it's booked by you at that period. Unpaid rooms will be locked. No other guests will be allowed apart from your group - registered guests only. Kitchen has basic amenities. Not for heavy cooking. Pantry has air fryer, kettle, toaster, fridge and microwave oven. Please bring your Nespresso coffee pods. Please send in advance any requests - charges apply for certain requests. Front gate is locked for safety. Please make arrangements if you checking in late. Jagna and Bohol in general is a very safe place for both locals and tourists. Only registered guests are allowed to come in the property. Amenities in and nearby the house: Rental of scooters are available at 450-500 pesos per day. Please book in advance. The house is approximately 7-10 minutes car ride to the hospital, church, town market, supermarket, ATM machines, Mc Donald’s, shops, restaurants, port (fast and slow ferries go to Camiguin Island, Cagayan de Oro, Butuan City), municipal hall, town gymnasium, sports centre and schools. Wifi Internet is available. Swimming in the sea in front of the house is safe although there are rocks. The area is a marine reserve so please do not take any shells or sea creature from the sea. For snorkelling and exploring the reef in front, local guides and boat are available at a cost. There's also a dive shop 5 minutes scooter ride. BEACH access You can always explore the sea grounds in front of the villa all by yourself, you can see local folks walking around especially if it's low tide. They are very friendly and charming. A local beach with beach bars and tiny stores is just 5-7 minutes walk away (Alejawan beach - seasonal). We also have another house 1 kilometer away at Tubod Mar which has a stretch of white beach. You may visit there, too. For a more exotic swimming experience, you may also visit the famed Alona Beach of Panglao Island or White Beach of Anda, an hour and a forty minutes car ride respectively. In Jagna, you can enjoy Kinahugan Falls or Lonoy Cold Spring – both are great for nature lovers and a perfect alternative to swimming pools. Nearby swimming pool is available at 200 pesos per person, the nearest is about 7 minutes car ride. Cadapdapan rice terraces and Can-umantad water falls in Alicia/Candijay area are good for hiking. Check Google for other spots to visit besides the game Alona Beach and Chocolate Hills. Need us to pick you up from Panglao to Jagna town? Airport/Port Pick-up and Drop off: Car 3,200 ; Van – P3,800 (one way); ferry terminal in Tagbilaran is 3,000 pesos (one way) Reliable and welcoming A property caretaker will welcome the guests upon arrival and host will be contactable online at most times during the duration of stay. Please take care of our house as if it’s yours. Clean up the kitchen and dining area after use to avoid ants and pests. If you need towels please request (applicable to long staying guests). Our house help will be in the property to mop the outdoor floors from the sea salt, sweep the garden area and collect garbage. Why Jagna, Bohol? If you are visiting Bohol via Manila or Cebu, it's a great idea to see another exotic island - Camiguin - to complete an island hopping vacation. Camiguin is a 4 hours ferry ride away from Jagna Bohol. Check schedule online. Jagna is about 90 minutes car / van ride from Bohol's new airport in Panglao. Whether you arrive in Bohol via an airplane from Manila or via ferry / boat from Cebu/Dumaguete, a visit in Bohol will be even more exciting and full of experiences at a lesser cost if you stay in Jagna. Especially if you come in a group of 3 to 6 people or more, like a family vacation or a barkada (friends) trip. This is when our seaside villa comes really handy for convenience, comfort and saving money. As water can be challenging in the area, we only have rain water tanks, please avoid washing clothes in the house (except undergarments). Laundry service is available in town. Drinking water is provided. Our water dispenser is always stocked with drinking water for your safety. Please don’t buy plastic water bottle, it’s not helping the environment. Electricity is very expensive in this island. Please help us switch off lights and aircon if not used. Close the doors so cold air doesn’t go out and mosquitoes don’t go in the bedrooms. Motorbike rental Children's books, games (dictionary, dictionary, scrabble, chess) and a collection of bestsellers are available for guests to enjoy. Other things to note It's perfect for families or group of friends who want to leave in a home atmosphere rather than a busy hotel. We also donate a significant part of our revenue to sponsoring local teenagers to go to high school. They are selected students whose parents do not have permanent jobs, and yet are motivated to study and finish high school for better opportunities.
