Stunning family home in beautiful Cotswold Village

Lantern House is a stunning 5 bedroom family house located in the beautiful Cotswold village of Biddestone. It is the perfect base for people wanting to explore the numerous nearby gems of Bath, Castle Combe and Lacock. Biddestone is a quintessential English village with a duck pond, village green, pub (100m away) and a cricket pitch. Biddestone has the unique combination of quintessential rural life but yet only 20 minutes from Bath. The space Lantern House is a large, spacious family house. The large, open plan kitchen is the perfect space for gatherings and leads onto the oak extension lounge. The kitchen has mod cons including a Nespresso coffee machine, Kenwood food mixer, Fisher & Paykel fridge and Roberts radio. There are doors from the kitchen leading out onto one of the patio areas with an outside dining eating area. The oak extension sitting room is a huge space with a piano, wood burner and a huge TV allowing for great evening entertainment. The lounge also has a wood burner and large TV, two sofas and a large 'egg' chair. The separate large utility room is a perfect space to keep dirty wellies and coats. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer as well as a kitchen maid drying rack. There are five bedrooms, on two floors with two en suite bathrooms and a large family bathroom. Bed 1 (Master) has a king bed and an ensuite, Bed 2 on the top floor has a double bed and adjacent bathroom. The 3 kids bedroom have two single beds & one bunk bed but also have two trundle beds so can be made into 3 twin beds. Fully carpeted, so we do ask that you keep your shoes downstairs. Lantern House has a large front and back garden. The front garden has a large grass lawn framed by a lovely lavender border. A pretty shingle terrace with garden furniture, is just perfect for al fresco dining complete with BBQ and fire pit. The back garden is very large and is set up perfectly for families with a trampoline, swimming/paddling pool and football goals. There is also an outside 'toy box' with scooters, tennis rackets & plenty of balls! There are two separate patio areas for al fresco dining, catching the sun at different times during the day and a gas BBQ to enjoy any time of the year. The back garden overlooks fields and only 200m away over the back wall steps is the Biddestone cricket pitches and playground. Guest access Guest have access to all areas except for a bedroom on the top floor which will be locked. As this is a family home, there will be some personal objects and possessions around the house. Other things to note There is a swimming /paddling pool & trampoline (with safety net) but kids must be supervised. You are welcome to use our kids toys but they must be put back how they were found. No shoes to be warn where there is carpet.
