We are a working family that has extra rooms and decided to rent to tourists.The room is in a basement of our house.Room has WINDOW,portable AC and small fridge. Common area with coffee and tea, loveseat,table. The bathroom is shared with one more room that sleeps two people.All the information about what we offer is here, PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BOOK. PLEASE CHECK THE CHECK-IN TIME BEFORE YOU BOOK. ANIMAL LOVER ONLY! WE HAVE DOGS AND CATS!! The space As I said on my summary please read the house rules and house descriptions before you book the room. We are a working family with extra rooms and decided to rent to tourist, due to the fact that we are close to La Guardia Airport. So please do not expect Hotel service, we don't charge like hotels in this area for a reason, so please do not expect the moon if you pay for a room!!!! The room is in a basement of our house and has a private entrance from the backyard and this makes it easy for our guests to come and go at any time they want as long as they are respectful since the place is shared and is our home. The furniture in the room is very basic; bed is very comfortable. We provide bath towels but are basic clean and fresh but don't expect fancy towels. We don't offer TV or cable. There is a common area with a sink coffee and tea maker, a loveseat, table a 4 chairs, with a good sunlight, if you need to check your emails or work a little we have fast internet. The bathroom with walking shower is shared with another room!! The room has a fan, for hot summers and a portable heater for cold winters, we provide extra pillows and extra blankets. As I said to my other rooms listed in Airbnb you must be animal lover to come to our place since we have 2 dogs and 1 cat!! Smoking is prohibited inside and in the rooms. No sigarets and no other things inside the house. If for any reason we smell cigarettes and other stuff we will report to Airbnb and will ask for a penalty. Guest can use the backyard for smoking!!! Guest access Guests have the entire basement with private room and shared bathroom and common area. The backyard is private but on nice days they can use the table and chairs if they want to have coffee outside. During your stay We are very friendly and people person, but we also know how to give space and privacy to our guests. We will interact with them only if they would like to interact with us! Other things to note The house is in a very quiet area, close to public transportation. All of our guests that have stayed with us think that the house is in a very convenient neighborhood. Very close to LaGuardia airport, close to buses and subway, store, supermarket etc. But keep in mind that the house is in Queens and not in Manhattan. And been a big city everything is very easy to access but not everything is very close. There are areas within the city that to reach you still need 40-50 minutes with subway to go. Queens is very close to Manhattan but is not Manhattan. I don't want my guest to have high expectations about the location. Queens is a very safe and quite neighborhood!!! And one more thing to consider before making the reservation is that we have two dogs in the house, so it is only recommended to ANIMAL LOVER!!!!! Because only who loves dogs can understand that they bark, play in the house and everything else that dogs do!!!! My house is not recommended if you have problems on sleeping or you are allergic!!!! Or don't love dogs and cats!!!! Please I don't want my guest to have surprises!!! Instructions to get hot water Dear guests the hot water is as soon as you open the handle, when the water starts to go out wait few seconds and you will have hot water, if you want warm water put the handle in the middle, if you want cold water facing the shower put the handle on the left side. Please if you have problems on getting the hot water let us know and we will show you how to get the hot water. We have hot water, we guarantee!!!!!!
