The huge master bedroom & adjoining spacious light-filled semicircular bathroom are ideal for an executive couple - super king size bed & privacy affording amazing northerly views of the selectively cleared forrest! The suite has its own private 3m high frenchdoors to the north! Access is usually via the main penthouse-like area down front of the residence, but the huge French doors open to the north as well! All quality bed linen, doonas & towels are included for guests! The bedroom is very spacious & there is no problem with enough room to move about freely (8mx3m)! A “couple only stay” is also possible in the king bed on the elevated platform in the penthouse-like raised platform, above the front living area! If just for an intimate single couple it is the same price & of course, unrestricted access to the rest of the residence! The queen suite is ideal for that very young family (read babies & maybe young pre school age children) An additional high quality king single ensemble has been recently added to this bedroom on the lower level! Ideal for an additional very young child! Heavy, backed silk curtains look like they can be drawn but mainly for show! They are delicate antique silk! It is not necessary to close the curtains as there are no other houses! No one walks by! House is quite elevated, also for privacy! The new commercial grade gas oven/cooktop now fully operational! There is a huge 6 burner BBQ (under cover), but a second smaller Weber BabyQ BBQ is sufficient for most smaller groups needs! Two huge 30,000l rainwater tanks & great water pressure! The active Li-ion solar energy system produces sufficient 240v power (if guests are not indiscriminately wasteful)! There is a large backup deisel generator to support & boost the solar system during inclement weather! Please be aware that this is a ecologically sensitive residence & l prefer guests have as little impact on the environment as possible! I do attempt to recycle all wastes, conserve energy use & restrict water wastage whenever possible! I just attempt to live responsibly & would appreciate if guests could show similar empathy! It must be noted that guests MUST NOT WANDER from the house onto the surrounding farm for biodiversity reasons! No dogs for the same reason! The gravel road from gate to house is only for driving in & out! Not for walkies! A recent update is the 3/4 size slate based pool/snooker table! In a dedicated conservatory-like rustic shed, veranda & an awesome old style hifi system! Can be made available on request prior to booking, but usually for my use only! The indoor heated pool is nearing completion! Tiling & pluming now compete! Only grouting to go! Rates will be extra when finally useable soon after! This seriously secluded residence is also FOR SALE! Only by consultation with owner though! $3.5-4million! Book a w/end to appreciate the value of PENTHOUSE-STYLE LUXURY IN A WILDERNESS PARADISE! RELAXED REFUND POLICY FOR CANCELLATIONS AND REDUCED RATES! Road up to house (250m) bit rough due to recent rain event (3000mm in one night), been worse & just need to take it slow! Couple floorboards cupped near kitchen pantry! Just saying! Guest access Guests are politely requested to refrain from wandering from the residence acerage into the surroundings owned by the elderly farmer, wife & family! Dirt bikes are a definite no-no! Ocean & valley views from the edge of the escarpment are directly in front of the residence! Other things to note Dirt-bikes are a definite no-no! Deisel generator if needed!
