Berry or Werri beach in Gerringong 10-12 mins, Seven Mile Beach @ Geroa 15-20mins to escape from the maddening crowds. Lyrebirds & wombats are your main neighbours! The huge master bedroom & adjoining spacious light-filled semicircular bathroom are ideal for an executive couple - super king size bed & privacy affording amazing northerly views of the selectively cleared forrest! The suite has its own private 3m high frenchdoors to the north! Access to the main penthouse-like living area down front of the residence is usually my area but is accessible for TV, full kitchen & huge French bifold doors that open to the sun-drenched deck to the north! All quality bed linen, doonas & towels are included for guests! The bedroom is very spacious & there is no problem with enough room to move about freely (8mx3m)! The queen suite is ideal for that very young family! Maybe grandparent & infant. An additional private kitchenette is on the lower level of this private suite! Heavy, backed silk curtains look like they can be drawn but are mainly for show nowadays. They are delicate antique French silk! It is not necessary to close the curtains as there are no other houses. No one walks by & the house is elevated from the road in, which adds to the privacy! The commercial grade gas oven/cooktop, & a large convection microwave! (the gas oven is under repair @ present, apologies) There is a huge 6 burner BBQ (under cover behind the main suite), but a second smaller Weber BabyQ BBQ on the front deck is sufficient for most smaller groups needs! Two huge 30,000l rainwater tanks & great water pressure! The active Li-ion solar energy system produces sufficient 240v power (if guests are not indiscriminately wasteful)! There is a large backup deisel generator to support & boost the solar system during inclement weather & heat the indoor pool! Please note that days of added generator use are required to warm the pool & this must be requested if required! Please be aware that this is a ecologically sensitive residence & l prefer guests have as little impact on the environment as possible! I do attempt to recycle all wastes, conserve energy use & restrict water wastage whenever possible! I just attempt to live responsibly & would appreciate if guests could show similar empathy! It must be noted that guests MUST NOT WANDER from the house onto the surrounding farm for biodiversity reasons! No dogs or trail-bikes for the same reason! The gravel road from gate to house is 2WD but has drainage moguls! Just go slow & keep one wheel on the higher ground! It is only for driving in & out! Not for wandering about! Book a w/end to appreciate the value of PENTHOUSE-STYLE LUXURY IN A WILDERNESS. Couple floorboards have recently cupped a bit near kitchen pantry & a lock on the big bifold has loose screw (hopefully fixed soon) - just saying! INDOOR-HEATED-POOL HAS BEEN DRAINED FOR MAINTENANCE! DISCOUNTED RATES REFLECT THIS! Guest access Private level entrance via big French doors! Short drive up from front of house to private parking! Guests are politely requested to refrain from wandering from the residence acerage into the surroundings owned by the elderly farmer, wife & family! Dirt bikes are a definite no-no! Ocean & valley views from the edge of the escarpment are directly in front of the residence! Other things to note Dirt-bikes are a definite no-no! Deisel generator if needed! I am usually available nearby for support re same! Pool only available when booked as ExcluZivelyYours & for your total & intimate private use as a couple! Large family groups that book as WildFoxySecluZion do not have access to the pool due to the increased dangers associated! Definitely no glass or alcohol in the pool area!
