Recently renovated stone cottage set in in beautiful countryside in its own grounds near the top of a private drive off the A940 about 9 miles south of Forres. There are wonderful walks in the area and plenty of activities including fishing, several golf courses and lovely beaches. The cottage was recently redecorated and has comfortable Hypnos beds, a new kitchen and modern sofas and chairs. The cosy sitting room has tv and wifi and a log burning stove in addition to the central heating. The space Downstairs the cottage has a large kitchen dining area, a cozy sitting room with wood burning stove, twin bedroom, shower room, laundry area and front and back porches with storage for coats, boots, buggies etc. Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one with a king size double bed (which can be configured as two singles with advance notice) and the other with two singles, and a bathroom. The cottage is centrally heated and free logs are provided. The modern kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a fridge and a microwave. A depends freeze is also available in the old kennels if required. We provide both telephone and tumble dryer but we do ask guests to use those in moderation to keep costs for all within reasonable bounds. Wifi and satellite TV is also available. Guest access The cottage is at the top of a private drive to the main house which is a family home. Whilst we allow guests to walk through the landscaped garden we do ask them to respect the privacy of the family when they are in residence. Pets are now not allowed There are a number of ponds in the garden and a river runs along the edge. These are unfenced and the ponds and river pools are deep in places so please take care and supervise children in particular. Please do not use the children's swings and or the trampoline which are for private use only. There are river paths but these have some steep banks and cliffs with no safety barriers so should be used at your own risk. Other things to note We do not accept pets
