Nile Lodge is a prestigious, private residence in the heart of the cultural city of Galway. The property is perfectly located just 5 minutes walk from both the Salthill promenade and all the major attractions of the city. Far enough for the tranquility and quiet, whilst also having the convenience of the finest restaurants and coffee shops, live music and delightful Irish pubs. It is an ideal venue for a private holiday with easy access to some of the most beautiful scenery of Ireland. The space The Nile Lodge, which is a well known Galway city house, is set on over an acre of beautifully landscaped gardens. It has recently been restored and extensively refurbished to its finer glory with modern luxuries and comforts, yet it retains its historic atmosphere . It has many fine antiques, vaulted ceilings and beautiful chandeliers. There are five bedrooms available, four with super king beds ( two of these can be made up as four single beds) all with Egyptian cotton bed linen, pure down duvets and their own private bath/shower rooms. Three of the bedrooms are located on the premier floor, the other two bedrooms are located on the lower garden level, in what once were the servants quarters. The three large reception rooms on the premier floor are accessible to all guests and are perfect for fine dining, relaxing and enjoying the company of friends and family. The gardens are very unusual for a city house and are spacious and well maintained. There is a private walled rear garden area, and a beautiful patio area with BBQ facilities . Guest access The house is a split level house which means that guests can access both floors through separate entrances if desired. The floors are connected by an old fashioned winding staircase. Guests can enjoy the upper ground floor of the house with three ensuite bedrooms for up to 6 guests. and the lower ground floor there are two spacious bedrooms, both with separate bathrooms, one with a shower the other with a bath and overhead shower, suitable for a further four guests. The grounds are set in among high walls and beautiful landscaped gardens. There is parking for up to 10 cars on the grounds of the house. Other things to note Minimum stay is for 2 nights.
