Full of industrial rustic charm and superbly comfortable The space The Sail Loft studio is luxurious accommodation in the grounds of a renowned local artist home. Where the artist also provides workshops (advanced booking and initial deposit required for this added facility). The walls adorn the artists nautical art work in keeping with the nature of the sailing and nautical surroundings. The accommodation also provides a galley style preparation area equipped with a luxury stone sink, small fridge/freezer, a small counter top stainless steel oven, wine cooler and microwave. There are a very varied selection of restaurants, gastro pubs and cafes in both Historical Dartmouth and the quaint fishing village of Brixham which are very close to The Sail Loft. Dartmouth is within a five minute car ride via either the higher or lower historical ferry from Kingswear. We are also on a well provided bus route to both Brixham town centre and Dartmouth. There is provided wi-fi and a wall mounted tv if you wish to keep in touch with your favourite programmes. A bed platform with its very own porthole is accessible by a quaint nautical ladder and provides a double futon base bed with a full double mattress (all hypo-allergenic) perfect for a cosy night! The separate shower room and toilet is again furnished in an industrial nautical style. A welcome basket is provided with items to enhance your stay. Which will include all the essentials needed to enable you to settle in for your wonderful holiday on the Southwest Coast. Also due to the current situation there will be added cleaning materials. Guest access Guest are more than welcome to use the seating in the garden by the garden well, a perfect cosy spot to enjoy an early morning coffee/breakfast before venturing out for the day or relaxing with an evening drink before retiring after a day exploring the beautiful surroundings of either Brixham, Dartmouth or further afield! Other things to note Unfortunately I cannot allow dogs as guests due to having my two beautiful dachshunds. With this in mind I would please ask all guests to be mindful of keeping the main gates closed. Thank you.
