Curly Willow Cabin
Curly Willow Cabin
Description
Splendid isolation! Very comfortable country cabin with its own surrounding gardens, right next door to the beauties of the Burren National Park. Ideal for restful retreat and working on creative projects. Bright and quiet, except for the song of birds, and occasional harmony of cows and sheep. Three miles from the picturesque fishing village of Kinvara, with its brightly painted shops, cafes, restaurants and traditional pubs. The space The Cabin is spacious for two people and their luggage (25 sq. metres, plus loft), bright with plenty of windows and a double door. There are two double beds, one is in the loft space and requires climbing up and down a ladder. The other is a sofa, which pulls out to a comfy bed. The shower has instant hot water. There is a kettle for tea and coffee making—milk provided, along with cereals for breakfast. While we did not list a kitchen as an amenity, we do have a single hob cooking ring and basic cooking utensils. There is a drying rack which lowers from the ceiling. The cabin also has a well-appointed picnic basket plus picnic rucksack, both of which guests are welcome to use for day-trips out to the beautiful Burren, wooded historical Coole Park, lovely local coastal beauty spots, etc. Guest access There is a separate driveway leading to the cabin, with parking space for two cars. There is a large garden space with table, chairs, and parasol available for a relaxing cuppa or glass of wine, as well as space & equipment for slightly knobbly games of croquet, badminton or boules. Other things to note 1. Please let us know before making a booking, if you will not be able to check in between 5-7pm. We will help with an early or late check-in if we can, but we need to know in advance. 2. We have wifi but it is weak at times. It's perfect for browsing, emails, and such, but perhaps too slow for video streaming. We suggest downloading in advance any films you may want to watch. 3. The cabin is very well insulated and has a solid fuel stove which heats the entire space in minutes. The stove can be lit on your arrival if needed, & we will leave plenty of fuel for you to have as many cosy fires as you want during your stay. 4. As the cabin is in the heart of the countryside, a car is recommended. It is also a popular area with cyclists. The village and many other local attractions are accessible from the cabin by bike if you have bikes with you.
