Traditional mountain house facing south in a hamlet of Biros in the heart of the Ariégeoises Pyrenees (Regional Natural Park) at an altitude of 900 m, with garden on 2 levels and air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms. Kitchen-dining room with fireplace and sofa bed, toilet, bathroom on the 1st floor. On the second floor: two bedrooms with air conditioning (one with a 160 bed, the other with 2 80 x 200 beds and 1 90 x 190 bed) as well as 1 toilet + sink. Garden with pergola, garden furniture, barbecue and deckchairs The space The ANDOURRA cottage is a comfortable and spacious traditional mountain house of about 100 m2, in stone, renovated with natural materials (wood, stone, terracotta), non-adjoining and facing south in a pretty hamlet of Biros in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Ariège Pyrenees at an altitude of 900 m. It is classified as a 3-STAR furnished tourist accommodation and labeled Gites de France. The hamlet is surrounded by forests, in direct access with nature, moreover there is no traffic in front of the house. Mountain views. Cars park on the hamlet square about 50/70 m away. Garden sheltered from view on 2 levels (second garden not overlooked), adjoining a meadow that descends to the stream. You are thus surrounded by forests, quiet, while enjoying the atmosphere and security of a typical Biros village. For nature lovers, many walks (departure of forest trails from the village), mountain hikes for all levels (GR 10 nearby, Mont Valier Reserve, Etang d'Araing, Crabere, Lake Bethmale), fishing rivers and high lakes, mountain biking, paragliding, snowshoeing, Via Ferrata. Summer events: Autrefois Le Couserans (early August), Les Transhumances (early June), Le Tour de France (July 14 in Saint-Girons), Les journées du marbre Grand Antique d'Aubert, Honey and Cheese Festival (August). Tourist documentation on site. Guest access kitchen/dining room, bathroom, 2 toilets, two bedrooms; garden with pergola, garden furniture and barbecue (in summer). No vehicle passage in front of the house, (mountain village with narrow streets) cars park in the square of the hamlet about 50/70 m from the vacation rental (access to the vacation rental by a steep alley) Check-in on Saturday (weekly rental) or on weekdays after 6 p.m. outside of school holidays. Check-out around 10 a.m. End-of-stay cleaning done by guests; possibility of a €70 cleaning fee to be paid on-site upon arrival. Other things to note large attic bedrooms with air conditioning on the 2nd floor Pergola with garden furniture, barbecue and 4 deckchairs direct access to the surrounding woods and nature from the house mountain view, not overlooked in front of the house. No Wi-Fi in the house but 4G passes according to the operators and possibility to connect to the small library on the hamlet square. Parking of your vehicle in the village square about 50 to 70 m from the gîte (access by steep alley). Classified as 3-star furnished tourist accommodation and 2 épis Gites de France. Only one well-behaved pet accepted (except first category dog) on request if conditions are met (not in the bedrooms please).
