The space Nestled in the picturesque village of East Linton, our period property is close to an award winning butcher, supermarket, a delicious bakery, a deli and pharmacy plus two restaurants, all within walking distance. In fact this village has everything you need for an amazing stay, the villagers are friendly as well and there is a real old fashioned community here that many past guests have enjoyed and commented on. East Linton originally developed over the years because of its location on the banks of the River Tyne and the name Linton is most probably derived from the village waterfall which is called the Linn. At one time East Linton was a busy working village full of working mills which were powered from the River Tyne. The property is perfect for families with high chair, travel cot and baby gate, toys and a Wii available Also arranged for friends or business guests with a Super king which splits into 2 singles and an office space with good internet access and plenty of plug and USB sockets. Local artworks adorn the wall and there are plenty of books of the region and fiction to borrow plus many quirky features including Paddington Bear. There are two smart TV's in the property so no arguing over what to watch as well as Alexa for the music. Amongst other measures, in between stays we sanitise high-touch surfaces; we use approved cleaners and disinfectants; we wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination; we clean each room using extensive cleaning check-lists; and we provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay if you so wish. We have got together with a local chef to take the stress out of the occasion all together for any guests by taking care of the cooking! This is a first for us, but we've pulled together a delicious 3 course traditional menu which will be delivered cold to your guests on Christmas Eve with instructions on how to finish off the cooking We're also offering Christmas eve sharing platters and canapés for Christmas drinks/festive brunch. Vegan and vegetarian food is also available. You can contact us directly for our very reasonable prices and menus. As you will receive your order on Christmas Eve, all you have to worry about on the 'big' day is serving it up and keeping your fizz topped up. Not staying over Christmas or New Year, no problem, we have delicious menus for the main meals and Platters that change every week.
