In the heart of Naples, there is a cozy studio flat, located in a typical, suggestive Neapolitan building. A great base camp to discover Historical Center and Campania. The perfect foothold to fix the thoughts of the day and breathe the air of the city, with its smells of cooking and neighbours' voices. Ideal for writers and adventurers, for romantic couples in search for an intimate, homely space, for anyone who wants to discover the most genuine face of Naples. The space I'm called “Prosa” because my intimate and warm dimension, my serene corners and the wide span of which I'm capable invite you to reorganize your thoughts, suggestions, echoes of voices and colours of Naples. Coming back to me is taking a breath after an adventurous wandering, I'm the shelter in which you can write down the suggestions of your journey. A pocketbook-house in which you will take, even only mentally, notes, of mutations and impressions the city arouses in yourself. A small world - entirely dedicated to the prose works. My light holds the warmth of copper. A desk on the right, under the window. Opposite, a small, but capacious wardrobe. A spacious bedroom, in which you can sleep together, if you are a couple, or in your own single bed. A small, functional kitchen and a small breakfast table in front of the other window. When you wake up we will have a breakfast looking at the sky spaces beyond the tufaceous roofs. In the evening we will smoke a cigarette on the balcony or sip a tea cup in the moonlight. Will you sit at my typewriter, in order to leave a gift of your presence? Or will you prefer to converse with the friendly neighbours - maybe by gestures, or in an improvised, new mixed language? Will you get lost in the alleys of the Center, spending the night drinking in the clubs, or will you rest picking up a takeaway pizza and reading one of the books you will find inside? Which will be the tale of your Neapolitan stay?... If I should define myself with an adjective, I would say I'm "Pasolinian". And you? Which adjective would you use? Guest access Welcome! Once passed through the wooden, anthracite polished threshold, you will have access to the entire little world I offer to you. Entrance is independet and nobody will bother. Inside you will find a large double bed, a lot of books, one desk, a typewriter... The kitchen isn't equipped with cookers, but you can prepare good sandwiches, salads and have a rich breakfast. You have at your disposal a fridge, a microwave, a toaster and - of course - an espresso machine for a great coffee! Feel free to use coffee pods, tea, juices and snacks and all the other little presents you will find! Other things to note Alas there's not (yet) a lift in the building - and there are four floors to climb! The kitchenette is intended to be a cozy nook for breakfast and for preparing sandwiches or salads. There is NO cooker and it's not possible to cook elaborated dishes. Even if we are in the heart of Naples, the area is very quiet - but we are in a very populace building and, well, Neapolitans are a very noisy folk! Often neighbours are on the stairs or on the balcony, or they speak loud from window to window, while they hang out the laundry.
