Unique, private, expansive bush environment; a true retreat. Beautiful views down a valley of regenerating bush and out to sea - with Great Barrier island in the distance. Ideal for two couples travelling together but wanting more privacy. One couple can book The Treehouse and one The Empty Nest. Treehouse cooking facilities can then be shared. The space We live on a 27 acre conservation block within a surrounding 400 acres of regenerating native bush. There is a large amount of native flora and fauna as well as tuis, bellbirds, some very precious kiwi and many other birds and species. 8 minutes to Kuaotunu, 12 minutes into Whitianga and an easy drive to countless beautiful beaches, sights and activities in the Coromandel. Nearest main airport: Auckland Distance: 2.5 hours Nearby attractions & activities Great cafe and gallery, beaches and play areas just 8 minutes down the hill in Kuaotunu. Easy 12 minute trip into town. Other things to note Driveway unsuitable for campervans/large vehicles and low-slung/sports cars. Please note there is no oven or microwave. But there is a double hob and an outdoor barbeque. Also, please note that we are with Starlink satellite internet which is largely reliable but from time to time reception can fade. We also turn the wifi off at night. There are many cafes in and around Whitianga that offer free internet access. One more thing: we do not have TV but a DVD player and screen (and a selection of DVDs) is available.
