East Lynne Farm
East Lynne Farm
Description
I am sharing my beautiful home which is a 15ac hobby farm. It is near Pebbly Beach in Murramarang National Park which is famous for very tame kangaroos, birds and parrots, great walks and beautiful beaches. You’ll love my place because of the organic gardens, horse, chickens, beautiful outdoor area and relaxed atmosphere. It is just a short walk to a daytime cafe selling alcohol and delicious pies made on the premises. The listed price is for 2 people, then extra for people after 2. The space The house is two stories with a large atrium over the kitchen and dining so the upstairs is connected. I have 3 bedrooms available but only book one person or group at a time. Bedroom one is downstairs with direct access to garden courtyard with lotus pond and table to sit at. It has a cupboard with draws and hanging space. There is access to a bathroom that is mostly private but is sometimes used as the downstairs toilet. Bedroom 2 is upstairs with access to a deck and has a built in wardrobe and desk. Next door is the main bathroom which is for guests only. Both rooms are generous, private and comfortable. Bedroom 3 has 3 single beds and a desk and is upstairs. Great for people who do not want to share a bed. It shares the bathroom with bed 2 but only when they are in your group. Guest access There is a large covered area with BBQ and table, lounge chairs and hammock that guests are welcome to cook or relax in. I have an outdoor fire pit area to sit around an open fire and cook. A bag of firewood can be bought at most petrol stations or you can walk around to find sticks. You are welcome to use all the kitchen facilities as long as you clean up after. There is a daytime cafe a short stroll away, over a bridge for breakfast, lunch or takeaways. I have chickens and a large organic vegetable garden so fresh produce may be available for guests with negotiation. There is a slow combustion heater to keep you warm in winter. Guests are always welcome to give my Arab mare Shai a carrot or apple and she loves a pat. During your stay I am retired and usually around to give any advice as to where the great things to do can be found, according to your interests. I love to bush walk so know where the best walks are. There are maps and books about the local area to look at and plan what to do as well. Guests are able to be as social or private as they like as there is plenty of space for all. I spend most of my time outside in the garden or on the property. I love to share my knowledge about organic gardening if people are interested. Other things to note Batemans Bay 18K away is the nearest supermarket so it's a good idea to get things you want on the way here. Internet is available for moderate use only please. I am away from town and internet access is more expensive in the country so I am not on an unlimited plan. Registration Details PID-STRA-5958
