The Croft Chalet Pods Skye - Pod 3 (Morven)

Morven Peninsula is one of 6 luxury pods overlooking Uig Bay in North West Skye. The pod has a fully kitted mini kitchen unit; bathroom (with shower); double bed and a sofa; table & chairs, underfloor heating and WiFi. There is a large decking area and each pod has to own picnic bench/area. We are situated 15 miles north from the Islands capital Portree, and are an ideal base for your trip to Skye. The space The pods opened in 2020 and are fully equipped for your break on Skye. We are situated in Uig with the pods overlooking Uig Bay. The pod comes with - UK standard size double bed and sofa , Micro kitchen (microwave, fridge and 2 ring hot plate) with additional storage cupboard, Bathroom with electric shower, toilet and sink, All bed linen and towels, Table and chairs, Kettle and toaster, Kitchen utensils, frying pan, pan, crockery, cutlery & glasses, Free WiFi TV and radio, Hot water, Portable oil heater Hairdryer, Tea/coffee/sugar, Storage space Clothes airer Hangers & pegs USB charging sockets Fully electric Heat alarm, fire extinguisher, alarm. Free parking on site (one car per pod) Washing machine available on site for shared use Outside there is a large decking area to the front of each pod and to the side there are individual picnic benches and brick barbecues & fire pits. There are picnic chairs to use on the decking - ideal for watching the sunrise... *before booking, please note - MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY IS 2 PEOPLE, this includes children. unfortunately the pods are not childproofed so we are unable to accept infants, sorry. The category description of FARM was allocated by Airbnb and is incorrect and cannot be changed by us. There are no ebike or EV charging facilities on site. EV charging on the Island is currently limited and unreliable As the pods form part of a working Croft, the access is limited. The path down from the car park, although very short, is steep and unfortunately currently not suitable for wheelchair users or people with restricted mobility. We can supply charcoal/log fuel buckets for the bbqs and fire pit. As we are on a working Croft we undertake maintenance/grass cutting etc during the day, and please be aware there can occasionally be cows and sheep in the neighbouring fields. For guests peace of mind we have a 24hr security camera, and we regret that for security reasons only booked guests are permitted on site. We provide free WiFi for leisure/holiday use and not for business - as we are a rural location we cannot guarantee speeds. Guest access All pods have individual areas at the side with a picnic bench and brick barbecue. Other things to note The maximum occupancy is 2 people, this includes children. Unfortunately we cannot accept infants under 2 yrs old in the accommodation. As we are a working Croft with no secure fencing and livestock in neighbouring fields then unfortunately we are unable to accept dogs. There are no EV charging facilities on-site, the nearest charger is 0.4mile away. There are currently limited charging points on the island * Our price doesn’t include a cleaning fee and we do not expect guests to have to clean the pod on departure. All we ask is that the checkout details are followed and the pods are left in a reasonable condition. Any that aren’t will regrettably be charged, thank you … Being situated on the exposed west coast we can very occasionally experience power cuts in the most extreme weather. Unfortunately this is totally outwith our control. We have limited back up power available on-site that enables guests to cook in a shared area, provides hot water and provision to charge devices. We also supply standard boxes with lights, flasks, hot water bottles, blankets and most importantly essential snacks 😊 Registration Details HI 30485-F
