The space Located just seven minutes from the heart of Hobart, Spa Luxe Apartment offers a tranquil escape nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac beneath the iconic Mount Wellington, Kunanyi, and only two minutes from beautiful Kingston Beach. Thoughtfully designed as an exclusive couple’s retreat, this custom-built alfresco spa studio showcases the beauty of Tasmanian timbers, elegant finishes, and an emphasis on comfort and contemporary style. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a private sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation. The centerpiece of the experience is a luxurious 20-jet alfresco spa, exclusively for your use during your stay, perfectly positioned with views over the River Derwent. Heated to a soothing 40°C, it provides an idyllic setting to unwind — even on the coldest Tasmanian evenings — while enjoying a glass of wine under the stars. The apartment includes a fully self-contained kitchen equipped with an oven, stovetop, and microwave. Guests are welcome to make use of the herb garden and, when in season, fresh produce from the vegetable beds. The garden is currently being replenished due to recent development works. Additional features include a BBQ area with plans for an outdoor kitchen, and a Smart Sony Bravia television with a 180-degree adjustable wall mount, allowing for comfortable viewing from the bed or kitchen area. Spa Luxe Apartment offers a unique and intimate setting — ideal for couples seeking a peaceful retreat with a touch of indulgence in a distinctly Tasmanian setting. Guest access The apartment is accessed through a keyless door pad via your own personal code, so you have full privacy at all times and 24 hour check in. With the convenience of not having to make a check in time to hand over keys - check in discreetly at your leisure any time after 3pm - easy late night check in. With a keyless entry you can go to the beach without having to hide the key in your shoe! There are two small steps up to the front door, the rest of the apartment is on one level. There is free, off street parking for one vehicle in the parking space marked outside villa and more parking is available on the street. Other things to note Availability - The calendar is further down this page just before the reviews section. We usually offer one night stays, however, due to Covid effecting our routine, we have switched to a 2 night minimum stay. Reservations are generally available up to 3 months in advance. The villa is smudged between guests, your wellbeing is important to us. If you have a very small dog (less than 4kg) that you can't bear to leave at home then we are open to the option of it staying by prior arrangement ($80 pet fee). Under no circumstances do we allow dogs over 4kg or cats, regardless of how well trained they are. Must be house trained and friendly. Although the villa is listed as not being suitable for more than 1 child or 1 adult and 2 children - this is only because there is only one bed and 1 large sofa bed. A child who sleeps with you or in a cot is permitted. We can provide a port-a-cot and high chair (for baby/toddlers to 15kg) by prior arrangement for a $55 fee, guest to supply bedding.
