Has all furniture, basic supplies, kitchen appliances, washer/dryer combo, bed linens, towels - all that may be needed for a month long stay. Great place for 1 or a couple with 1 queen bed, comfy chair, and electric fireplace in the bedroom. Central heat / air conditioning helps to feel cosy and comfortable in the heat. It is NOT inside this unit and is controlled by the host. You can manage the hot/cold air flow by opening or closing its outlets in the unit. Lots of natural light with the glass door in the common area. That area has vinyl flooring for easier maintenance. The Bedroom gives a comfy feeling with queen bed, a comfy chair, and Electric fireplace to feel relaxed. Access to Washer/dryer between 7 pm and 11 pm during the week and between 9 am and 11 pm on weekends. Multiple kitchen electric appliances available for food preparation and heating. (2) Nearby TTC stations and Subway terminals ================================= 1) There are 2 Subway lines going from North to South (both to midtown and downtown Toronto). This property is conveniently located between both - Pioneer Village terminal of the West line and Finch subway terminal of the Yonge line. They are also a part of TTC organization so the same TTC payment you make inside the bus will get you into the subway system without paying for extra ticket. That is because TTC buses enter inside the subway terminal itself and you just walk to subway inside the terminal. There are 2 TTC buses you can use to get to these subway terminals -#60 (Regular)-stops at Emerald Ln & Steeles Ave W - within 5 minutes walk (350 meters) -#960 (Express)-stops at Bathurst St & Steeles Ave W - within 8-10 minutes walk (550 meters) Note - Same buses go to York University campus on Keele St If you prefer to walk (which is NOT recommended in the summer) - Finch subway terminal is about 3.5 km away - about 50 minutes walk per Google maps 2) Also there is bus #7 that stops just across the street that can take you to midtown or downtown locations via Bathurst St and connecting to the TTC Bathurst subway station on Bloor St green line (connecting west and east parts of town) (3) Location ========== 1) by car - about 30 minutes drive from Pearson Intl Airport. 2) by bus: - about 15 minutes by bus to Finch subway station (trains run directly to downtown in about 30 min) - about 15 minutes to Pioneer Village subway terminal - about 20 minutes to University of Toronto The house is within 5-10 minutes walk to bus stations (both TTC and VIVA), 2 budget food giants (Metro and Freshco as of Jan 2026), 3 major banks, multiple small shops, restaurants, grocery/variety stores. (4) Larger Shopping malls nearby ========================== There are 2 shopping malls nearby 1) Centerpoint Mall on Yonge St- about 1.7-1.9km - within 30 minutes walk or 5-10 minutes by bus 60 or 960 (described above) 2) Promenade mall on Bathurst St - about 2.2km - within 35 minutes walk or about 5-10 minutes by a few buses: - Viva #88 from Emerald Ln & Steeles Ave W - TTC 160 (to north) from Bathurst St & Steeles Ave W (5) Grocery and convenience shopping ============================== Within 10 minutes walking distance there are 4 large plazas with food giants, many stores, banks, Canada Post, and service businesses. Food giants - Metro (5 min walk) and Freshco (10 min walk) Private local food store - Akiva (within 7 min walk) Dollarama - for household and convenience items shopping - 10 min walk Few cafe and restaurants, dry cleaning, alterations, mobile phones, computers store and many more. Large Banks - TD, CIBC, BMO - Within 10 minutes walk RBC - about 20 min walk or 5-10 min by bus #7 to south (6) Gyms ========= There are 2 gyms on Yonge St - one in the Center Point mall (about 5-10 min by bus or 30 minutes walk) and one near Finch subway terminal (about 15-20 min by bus).
