Jurassic Yurt near Durdle Door

Wynards Farm is close to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove, part of the famous Jurassic Coast. Monkey World and Tank Museum. Bridleways linking up with the South West Coastal Path. Between Dorchester, Wareham and Weymouth. With uninterrupted views over the stunning rolling hills of the Dorset countryside, the Yurt is set in 11 acres of Wynards Farm, a small holding. Get cosy with the log burning stove and wake up to a beautiful sunrise. The space The Yurt is set in 11 acres with uninterrupted views over the rolling hills of the Dorset countryside. The yurt has a kingsize bed, already made up, kitchen unit with hob, sink and fridge, together with cooking utensils, cutlery, etc. A woodburning stove to keep you warm as you snuggle up on the sofa. A private wetroom with Separett Villa 9000 eco-toilet and shower next door. There is a BBQ/fire pit to spend lovely quiet evenings outside under the stars with no light pollution. You can park beside the yurt and bike storage is available. Guest access I have decided not to increase prices this year, instead charging for logs. This keeps the price down for guests not using many or any logs. The logs are different for the woodburning stove, barbeque and seperate firepit. The charge is £7.00 per type of log per bag/bucket. These can be ordered in advance or during your stay (cash payment only) A folder is provided for guests with many suggestions of places to eat and things to do. I can also offer use of our freezer for ice blocks and have cool bags for guests to borrow. PLEASE BE AWARE THERE IS NO WIFI CONNECTION TO THE YURT Dogs are welcome and there is a charge per dog per night. Other things to note I love where I live here at Wynards Farm. I have been here over 38 years. It is quite unique being a little bit off the beaten track but close to the local amenities. You can walk to the pub a mile away (The Sailors Return at East Chaldon) or the village shop half a mile which has a great stock of local produce. Winfrith is a traditional, picturesque village. The views are wonderful and you can watch the sunset from the back of the property on the small decking view point, or wake up to the sunrise over the church tower. We are not far from the famous Jurassic coast featuring Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove just a five minute drive. Monkey World and The Tank Museum are ten minutes away. The Saxon walled town of Wareham on the River Frome, Thomas Hardy's Dorchester and the beaches of Weymouth are fifteen minutes away. This is a very quiet location.
