Spacious Guest Annexe

For Couples, Contractors, Individuals, Business Travellers, and Families. Long or short stay. Country walks, rural, quiet, spacious and private. Kitchen, king bedroom, bathroom, lounge. Sofa bed, large screen smart tv, WiFi, some games and books. Garden may be used. Described as clean, welcoming, friendly and comfortable. The space A large comfortable space (bedroom, lounge, kitchen, bathroom) with access to a very large garden and parking for one car (two can be accommodated, with notice) for the duration of your stay. Bathroom refurbished and repainted Sept 2025. Full redecoration completed Sept 2025. You have your own entrance into a small lobby. This leads into the fully equipped kitchen/dinning room. Supplied with enough drinks, milk, sugar etc to start your stay. Also basics of salt, pepper, oil... Coming off the corridor is a large bathroom with over bath shower. Next to this is the king sized bedroom, with walk in wardrobe and full height mirrors. At the end of the corridor is the lounge, with large smart TV and three large settees (one a sofa bed). Views of the garden. Additional guests (up to 2) can be accommodated on a double sofa bed. A single mattress is available for children, must be requested. Guest access Exclusive use of Bedroom, Bathroom and Lounge. We occasionally need access to kitchen (if your stay is less than a week, we are unlikely to enter). Shared washing machine and tumble dryer available for guest use. Own entrance. Key box for arrival outside of normal check in. Ground floor. Outside seating (please ask and we will put out) so guests can relax watching the fish in the pond, or guests can pick fruit straight from the trees, when in season, or just enjoy the space. Other things to note This is an entire place, annexed to our house. Own entrance. Private living room window looks into our conservatory. Guests can keep curtains closed to maintain their privacy or open for more light. We have 3 kittens (Monty, Conkers and Podge). You may meet these in the garden. They are not allowed in the annex. I strive to be as sustainable as possible. These are the highlights: All washing liquids (shampoo, soap, washing up, fabric softener) are refilled with eco/plastic free liquids. For the laundry, I use washer and dryer balls. The dishcloths are not single use and are washed between every guest. When they reach the end of their life, they are composted. The annexe is cleaned with a chemical and plastic free, refillable cleaner. The disinfectant is alcohol based and free of artificial chemicals and plastics. Even the tea bags are plastic free, and the milk is delivered in glass bottles. Commercial photography and filming will be considered, with prior authorisation. Appropriate insurances will be required, and a fee is payable. Please message before booking.
