A perfect bolthole, combing rustic charm with modern comfort. The Little Green Cabin sits in a big green field, a few hundred yards from Wedderlie House, on a private estate in the Scottish Borders. There is a tennis court, woodlands, stream, pond and plenty of open space, shared between the main house, cottage and cabin. The cabin has a double bedroom, open plan living-kitchen-dining room, shower room and deck with seating. There is electric heating, double glazing and an equipped kitchen unit. The space The perfect spot to escape for a weekend or as a base for exploring the beautiful Scottish Borders. Only 35 minutes drive south of Edinburgh, the Little Green Cabin sits on Wedderlie House Estate, a private estate surrounded by countryside and wildlife. Expect to see deer, hare, pheasants and a range of game birds from the patio doors which look on the deck and surrounding countryside. Wedderlie House in an A-listed converted castle on land originally gifted by Robert the Bruce to the Edgar Family. The 60 acre estate has lawns, gardens, fields, woodland and a small river. The Little Green Cabin sits at the top of a big green field, Crooked Acres, near the edge of a courtyard opposite Wedderlie House and next to the stable buildings. *At weekend we host private events and weddings but please note we only rent out the cabins during the week to individuals (there will be NO weddings at the same time)* Guest access Guests can explore the 60 acre private estate. There is a small river at the bottom of the field, a few minutes walk along a grassy path from the cabin. Also just next door to the cabin is tennis court which guests are free to use. Other things to note Sofa bed in cabin, but due to cosy size of cabin (30 square metres) this would be most suitable for children. Registration Details SB-01284-F
